Hi all,

I have a domain name in sight. Its a recently dropped domain name Fairly good two word name. Can be a good domain in that particular service industry. Just a quick search of the domain name in google returns an ip address as first search result. Clicking the ip address opens the page with this text

"Something special is coming"

Go daddy appraisal values it at $2500.00. Done some IP search, which shows its by Digital Ocean.

How can i find the Whois from that IP address? Any suggestions to proceed ?

Sorry if i am not divulging more.

Thanks

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
The name isn't available if it is hosted. Sounds to me you missed out already.

Bear in mind that Godaddy's appraisal system says that poop.co is worth $5,641 USD...

He visited the server ip the domain was being hosted on. Not the domain itself so it could be available.

Like, you want to lookup the owner of the ip address? It's most probably owned by digital ocean and I don't think they will SWIP ips to their client for single addresses so you wouldn't be able to get that data from the ip.
