Just bought a Kindle Paperwhite. Nice device. But $200? Must be about $5 to build. Did you buy one too?
It cost 84 to make a decade ago. Definitely not 5 now.
Is a Kindle just a cheap ipad?
I've found myself going in the audio book direction. I drive a lot for work so it's perfect. Been sucked in by a few podcasts too. Good luck with the Kindle!

Just in case anyone did not know, the Kindle app on iOS and Android devices allow you to read Amazon Kindle books on those tablets, which I have done for many years, rather than buy a device just for books. Also public libraries, at least ours do, will have many great eBooks to access for free.
Personally while still a fan of print as a medium, most of the time I buy electronic versions now. But I always check library access first, unless it is a book I will want to reference a lot in future.
