DaaZ.com is a premium domain names marketplace owned by DaaZ Limited, London (UK).

Key vision of DaaZ.com is helping buyers and sellers to transact with each other in a trusted way.

DaaZ.com key focus is end user focused sales and we have been operational since August 2019 and we have made a quite good progress and supported few thousands buyers buying domains via DaaZ and also having around 800+ sellers offering their inventory for sale. We have registered buyer base of 4000+ buyers.

It may not be lot in terms of numbers, we are the youngest marketplace (without any registrar presence). We have made a good reputation and able to build the traction.

How we are different ?

We may not be too different at moment, we are sharing what we believe is our core offerings:
  • We have developed a platform which is having a very good buyers interface, specially helping wholesale or repeated buyers securing domain names.
  • We allow the listings for free, it's open for all sellers (aka domainers) and support 1400+ domain extensions
  • Sellers can run any time auctions. This feature help for regular cash-flow needed by the sellers. (Disclaimer: At present very few end users participate into these auctions, mostly domainers / resellers winning the names )
  • Lowest Success Fee: Our success fee is 8% (with chargeback protection included) is the lowest in the industry offered by any domain name marketplace.
  • We pay to the sellers via PayPal / Wire transfers. No PayPal withdrawal or pay-out fees, all fees covered by DaaZ with in 8% success fee (In short, no indirect fees)
  • We offer live chat support round the clock (Although we are not officially 24/7, we are offering near 24/7 support). We look after our buyers and sellers with great attention.
  • We love automation of the processes; however we do believe the human interaction with the buyers makes a lot of difference. So, we automated what we believe is required to automate and we kept those human interactions with the buyers or sellers where we believe is required to be in place
We are open to listening to our buyers and sellers and improve the platform every month. We are making two improvement releases a month to fix the product related issues and also bringing new features.

We believe our customers are our gods and we help them in all possible means we can. That's clearly reflecting in our customer reviews, we are proud to share we are a new market place however according to Trustpilot we have secured the highest customer trust among all domain name market places in 2020 with 4.9 trust rating : https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/daaz.com

What we believe we need to improve ?

We believe a platform will be never perfect and has to continue to listen to our customers and deliver a platform of their choice. So, we have a clear outlined process to receive the feedback and handle the product improvements effectively
  • We are relatively a young platform, so we have a lot of room to improve on number of features and catch-up, we are addressing the backlog with a lot of passion
  • We are aware that we need to bring the installment plan, rent to own features, also a powerful API to help the bulk sellers. We have clearly these features in our product road-map for 2021.
  • We have a lot more innovative ideas not attempted by any other marketplace, we are focusing to address the industry standard offerings first before moving on delivering these innovative ideas to help the domain investors / sellers
  • We also record every suggestion given by our buyers and sellers, we analyse the feedback, and all the appropriate feedback is getting added to backlog
  • Our road-map is ready for next 5 years and we will do everything possible to help to improve the standards of domain name marketplace
We love to listen to the NamePros community hence we are setting up this Official thread.

A black background colour for a Premium landing page it's not that appealing IMHO:
It's good for a night reading mode, sure, but during the day it looks like the funeral of a landing page.

Meanwhile I was wondering if you solved that fastidious issue on the domainers landing page side [ basically: no real alphabetical order with multiple TLDs listed, last domain modified by the owner put AUTOMATICALLY on top of the NOT ALPHABETICAL list];

My last update about this question was this:

And sincerely, I'm reluctant to check by myself as 'I've got a feeling...'
Thanks for the feedback. We have shared it with our product team.

We are actively investing in the next generation of domain discovery across millions of domain names on DaaZ.

Over the next two months, you'll see significant enhancements to both domain discovery and search capabilities, making it easier to find relevant domains and uncover opportunities that might otherwise go unnoticed.

Our focus is on helping buyers discover great domain names faster while continuing to improve the overall search experience.

We appreciate your feedback and look forward to sharing these improvements soon.

Every lander has a carousel of other domains ("Explore More Premium Domains"). That's perhaps good for the marketplace itself but it isn't for the seller of that particular name.
This is a common concern among domain investors, but our experience suggests the opposite.

The assumption is that a buyer who arrives on your domain lander will immediately leave and purchase another domain instead. In reality, most buyers are evaluating multiple options before making a decision. Showing relevant premium domains helps keep buyers engaged within the marketplace ecosystem rather than losing them to another website altogether.

A marketplace works because of collective inventory. The larger and stronger the selection, the more buyers it attracts, which ultimately benefits all sellers. Many successful marketplaces across different industries operate on this principle, where related alternatives increase overall buyer engagement and transaction volume.

Our goal is not to divert buyers away from your domain, but to create an environment where more buyers discover, compare, and ultimately purchase domains through DaaZ. A stronger marketplace creates more opportunities for every seller.

Atom has actually researched this extensively and recognizes that the feature isn't universally desirable. That's why they made it configurable, and it's a setting I'd recommend you implement as well.

You now have someone (@Jannes) in this thread explicitly saying they think it's undesirable, and it would make sense to take that into account. I strongly agree with Jannes, although I'm not using DaaZ at this moment.

You also need to distinguish clearly between marketplace functionality and the behavior of individual landers. Most major marketplaces deliberately avoid showing other sellers' domains on the lander; that cross‑promotion happens only inside the marketplace interface, not on the domain's own landing page.

Thanks for the thoughtful feedback. We genuinely appreciate it.

To clarify, on DaaZ Diamonds landers, our first preference is always to show the seller’s own DaaZ Diamonds inventory where enough qualifying names are available. Other sellers’ domains are only shown when the seller does not yet have enough approved Diamonds inventory to fill the recommendation section.

That said, we fully understand the concern being raised here. There is a clear difference between marketplace discovery and an individual domain lander, and we accept that some sellers may prefer not to show any third party recommendations on their own landers.

At this stage, DaaZ Diamonds is newly launched, and we want to observe the real data for a couple of months before making a final product decision. We are not ignoring this feedback. In fact, this discussion is exactly the kind of input we want to take into account.

Our current position is:
  1. Keep the recommendation feature active during the initial testing period.
  2. Prioritise showing the seller’s own approved Diamonds inventory wherever possible.
  3. Review buyer behaviour, seller feedback, and conversion impact closely.
  4. Consider adding seller level flexibility if the data and feedback show that this genuinely helps sellers.
DaaZ is still evolving, and we are listening carefully. Our goal is not to force a feature that sellers dislike, but to test whether curated discovery can create more buyer engagement and ultimately more sales for premium domain owners.

I've just signed up to DaaZ and found it very straightforward to add my domains to their system - probably the easiest and quickest out of all the major marketplaces so so far so good.

Some things that I couldn't work out or find in the FAQs:

The sample CSV upload file has additional columns for Category, Theme, Description & Summary but no guidance or examples on how they should be used. Does anyone here use these fields and/or can point me to an example domain using them?

I couldn't find anywhere to enter my VAT details. I'm UK VAT-registered and historically most of my customers are also UK VAT-registered businesses which means that a domain advertised at £3959 should actually only cost the VAT-registered customer £3299 but unless the VAT status is displayed on the buy page the customer would never know it's nearly 20% cheaper than it appears.

Some constructive criticism:

When filtering by extension .co.uk, the search criteria for keywords appears to default to 'Starts with' which in my opinion is less than ideal (the default should be 'Contains'). However what really compounds the issue is that none of the 'Keyword Placements' checkboxes are ticked so there's no indication or warning that search results are being filtered.

E.g. tick 'co.uk' extension and 'buy now', search for 'TV' and no results show.
However tick 'co.uk' extension and 'buy now', search for '3D' and 3dTV.co.uk shows...

WIBNIF:

For a Brit like me, it's great to see .co.uk prominently displayed as an extension in the search criteria but I do think buyers, sellers and DaaZ would all benefit from also including .uk results in .co.uk results.

This could either be automatically including .uk domains (with or without an additional 'exclude .uk' checkbox ) in the results or alternatively just display a clickable message "Another 8 domains with the .uk extension also match your keyword search".

First of all, thank you very much for giving DaaZ a try and for taking the time to write such detailed feedback. We're delighted to hear that you found adding your domains quick and straightforward. Making onboarding as simple as possible has been one of our main objectives.

Regarding your questions:

CSV Fields (Category, Theme, Description & Summary)

These fields are entirely optional.

  • Category helps classify domains into industry sectors such as AI, Finance, Health, Travel, etc., making them easier to discover.
  • Theme allows sellers to choose a preferred landing page style where applicable.
  • Description is the main sales description displayed on the landing page.
  • Summary is a shorter version used in certain listing views.
If you leave these fields blank, DaaZ can generate high quality content for them using AI and DaaZ Pro Units, so many sellers won't need to complete them manually. We'll also improve our CSV documentation and FAQs with examples, as that's a very fair suggestion.

VAT

Thank you for raising this.

Our approach is slightly different from some other marketplaces. The advertised price is always the price the buyer sees and, where applicable, includes VAT. We believe this creates the simplest and most transparent buying experience, avoiding unexpected charges appearing during checkout.

Where VAT applies, it is calculated within the advertised price rather than added on top. Eligible VAT registered businesses can account for VAT through their normal VAT processes using the invoice provided after purchase.

We appreciate that some sellers may prefer displaying prices exclusive of VAT, but we've chosen to prioritise buyer clarity and minimise checkout confusion.

Search Behaviour

Thank you for pointing this out.

You're absolutely right that the keyword placement behaviour could be clearer, particularly when filtering by .co.uk. We'll review both the default search behaviour and how active keyword placement filters are presented so users can immediately understand why certain results are or aren't being shown.

.co.uk and .uk

This is a very interesting suggestion.

Many buyers naturally search for both extensions interchangeably, so surfacing matching .uk names alongside .co.uk results, or at least notifying users that matching .uk domains exist, could certainly improve discovery for buyers while giving sellers additional exposure.

We'll discuss this with the product team.

Thank you again for the constructive feedback. DaaZ is evolving rapidly, and suggestions like yours genuinely help us prioritise improvements that benefit both buyers and sellers.

Please keep them coming. We really appreciate it.

Yes. DaaZ Name servers usage and BIN pricing is mandatory. LTO can be enabled ( optional - up to the seller ).

is the commission for the curated "brands" marketplace same as DaaZ at 9%?

And what is the commission for your ultra premium Diamonds marketplace? And is exclusivity required for this marketplace? If so, how long is the min term?
Both Brands and Diamonds are 9%

Seller friendly 9% commission / success-fee

• Seller friendly approach with current service fee remaining at just 9%

That's correct , the DaaZ success fee remains 9% only.

For ultra-premium domains, there is no exclusivity requirement. Sellers are free to list and sell their domains on any marketplace they choose.

The only mandatory requirement for inclusion is that the domain must use DaaZ nameservers (DaaZ landers) while it is featured in Diamonds or Brands.

There were a small number of exceptions when DaaZ Diamonds was initially launched in May 2026. However, we are not granting any new exceptions going forward. All new submissions must comply with the DaaZ nameserver requirement.

If, at any time, a seller wishes to remove their domain from DaaZ Diamonds or DaaZ Brands, they are free to do so by providing three weeks' notice. This allows us sufficient time to update our marketplace, promotional materials, and search indexes.
