Hey Folks,

I've just started using squadhelp.com to list some of my brandable. So far I have 76 domains listed, there is no fee to list. I've had some decent action so far in the way of interested buyers but no sales as of yet. I've only been with them for 1 week now.

A bit of a summary review of SquadHelp:

PROS
  • No Listing fee
  • No Logo design fee
  • Ability to submit your names to end users holding naming contests
  • Ability to chat directly or send a message directly to end users.
  • Stats of your marketplace domains are shown in the marketplace dashboard.
  • Their customer service and support has been great, 24hr a day chat.
  • Ability to increase or decrease the list price of your domains or to show a discount. You can decrease or increase the price yourself by $200. If you want to lower more, you can contact support.
  • End users can shortlist your domains before they make a decision on which they want to purchase. The number of shortlists is shown in you marketplace dashboard.
  • When you submit your names you get to set the price you wish to get. Because their commissions are high I recommend listing at a higher price to offset the commission costs.
  • Their landing pages are fairly basic but they work. Because the marketplace is fairly new, I'm sure we will see style improvements in the future.
  • One thing I really like is they accept multiple extensions. I have listed .co and .io along with .com
  • Each seller gets a direct link to their marketplace portfolio, HERES MY PORTFOLIO. It is handy if your trying to p[promote your portfolio through social media.
  • I like that their marketplace doesn't have tens of thousands domain listings like BB. They are fairly strict on the domains they accept to list and so this helps keep the number of domains in the marketplace down and gets your listings more exposure.
CONS
  • Their commissions are very high, depending on the domain name they are usually between 30% and 35%. However, there are no listing fees, no logo design fees, so in the end their commission is very similar to brand buckets.
  • Their logos are not top quality, in fact I requested to have some of my logos remade.
  • I think they have a big backlog of logos to design, the wait time for logo design has been around 1 week, but your names are still listed while the logos are being designed.
  • After your names are accepted you need to agree to their commission rate, at this point you also need to apply your own keywords, descriptions etc. I found this was very time consuming.

It looks like it is getting easier to have names accepted for the Ultra-Premium Marketplace...

@Atom.com Have you considered an option to display your AI Value on the landers if the amount is higher than the BIN?

if you do this @Atom.com , please allow sellers to disable the feature for standard landers. And please ensure it does not appear on Minimal Landers at all

Thank you

The .NET pricing is good.🙂

The .ORG and .COM pricing is Excellent!!😁

The .AI pricing is only relevant during renewal.😑

The .ART pricing is tricky. The SLD comes into play for the renewal.🎩

The .NGO pricing doesn't specify that .ONG is included for free or you have to show proof you're a non-profit.

The .Watches pricing is Even Steven with other registrars.↔

The no coupon code is devious!!🐷🐖

Interesting reason given as to why this name wasn't considered for instant premium.

I mean I'm sure sometime in the future adding AI to everything will feel dated, just like the trend of adding "net" to everything in the early 2000s did (maybe soon we'll even have a massive influx of AI names dropping as the hype dies down and people start to realise adding random irrelevant words to "AI" doesn't work)

But I don't think we're quite there yet to call AI dated? :xf.wink:

So Ai is calling itself dated, interesting

Using reported sales, and realizing there are 3 days left in the month, so far July has been an average month and on par with normal months (unlike July 2025 and Mar 2026 where their 25% discounts did lift sales).

Looks like as of yesterday you can't save visitor mockups any more. But you do have an option to generate your own.

Thank you for hiding the domain name (visit . now)

I just visited this domain now and I saw that the recommendation system was being unfairly manipulated. Hundreds of new lines added to the description, preventing visitors from viewing other recommended domains. However, this domain continues to be promoted on other sellers' landing pages.

Another domain I've found using the same tactic with exact same formatting, presumably from the same portfolio: erotic . xyz

If these are your domains, stop being sneaky in the system you're a part of and play the game fairly.

Guilty as charged, and they are indeed both my domains, and some others too.

I saw a few descriptions where people added nonsense AI generated text at the bottom which looked kinda silly, and thought I'd experiment with adding white space instead. Didn't really work out as well as I'd hoped though, and you're right, it's not fair on the other domains. I've reverted them back to normal.

Edit: Well genuinely trying to, still waiting for the propagation to kick in almost 12 hours later.

(Not one of the best ideas I've had for tweaking my listings, i'll admit, and I've had a few dumb ones)

Seems Atom has their own version of black friday, I probably somehow ticked it on or didn't within their millions of options and settings.

Nothing really surprises me anymore with them.

On another note, Hilco global was working on Ultra premium domains as a partnership so had a domain listed on Atom under Ultra, signed a agreement only to find out after two years they no longer work together.

Within those two years I reached out around 18 times asking for a follow up,

Now awaiting the month listing period to have it delisted so I can handle it to a amazing broker instead.

When on the 19th request for a follow up I was told "the listing price is far too high" "Maybe try lowering it by 70ish %"

While in reality I wasn't the one that even came up with that price + it was going to be brokered with outbound and so on (Well, that was promised at least and was signed for)

For me Atom has lost the plot, selling domain names isn't about credits, gaming around with more settings than GTA 5.

Moving 250+ domain names to Afternic, but also open for discussion where others are selling at the moment

Wonder what's next, A Christmas sale in August?

I agree that the amount of settings is getting a bit ridiculous. Although admittedly I recently asked for a new option 😅

The partnership with Hilco has indeed ended, but not according to their website:

https://www.atom.com/ultra-premium-marketplace

By the way, I had one name automatically added as an UPM name because it was listed as such by the previous owner. I wonder if I still have to keep it there for six months...

Do you have a source for the knowledge/claim Hilco ended the UPM partnership with Atom?

Not speaking for another, but I did.

Several to my point of contact, (Daniel)

We would communicate the first months, than silence.

Atom themselves confirmed the partnership ending.(No announcement, no email) but finally after a year or so through their live chat.

This message could be interpreted as "They no longer work there", it's all a bit vague but 99% sure that partnership ended.

Side note: Not so bothered, Atom has decent support, friendly made some decent sales, just annoyed with the auto opt-ins to their endless updates, being left in the dark on what was a signed agreement, getting insane discounts applied to not one but at least 200+ domain names for random made up events.

Oh well.

Both could of reached out, Daniel included.
