I bought a domain in .com zone a few years ago, now I want to make a transfer to another registrar, but current registrar lock domain and doesn't let me do this and says that domain: "Pending dispute related to a previous transfer pursuant to the Transfer Dispute Resolution Policy. "

Questions:

1. Can exist a TDRP complaint within 3 years and not be reviewed by the previous registrar?

2. I asked the current registrar provide to me copy of Complaint, however, I was refused
Is the registrar’s refusal to provide me documents legal?

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Who's the registrar?
I don't think they can but I've never seen a TDRP in action before. You need to get more info. Perhaps reach out to ICANN?

Maybe this info will help:
https://icannwiki.org/Registrar_Transfer_Dispute_Resolution_Policy

From the article...

The acceptable time frame for filing a TDRP complaint is within 6 months of "the alleged violation.

The responding registrar then has 7 days to respond to the Request for Enforcement and send copies to both the registry and the registrar that filed the complaint.

According to TDRP procedure, the Registry Operator then has two weeks to reach a decision; this decision can be appealed.

I bet it is a hot name appraised well every day of week and a registrar wants it.

You need to give the registrar's name.

This'll help. Different registrars treat differently.

"Your registrar is like your wife." :)

Current registrar is Name.com

I contacted to previous registrar and they answer that don't have any TDRP case regarding my domain name.

I’m just in a stressful situation now, I never expected a big US company to behave like this, they absolutely don't care about their customers :(

I would reach out to an industry legal expert.
A notable industry expert who has done consultations before in the past to assist domainers is @jberryhill

Best of wishes to solve your legal disputes!
