Is automation powerhouse Zapier about to rebrand to Zap? It looks like the company bought Zap.com earlier this year, anyway. According to DomainIQ, the name moved from NameCheap to Name.com under privacy protection in January, with Zap.com now redirecting to Zapier.com. Incidentally, Name.com is the registrar for Zapier.com. I mentioned this sale, along with five other likely deals, on a recent post on my LinkedIn profile.
Here are this week's Top Topics.
Decentralization.com Closed at $5,050
Recently, the Decentralization.com domain expired was caught by DropCatch, and was subsequently auctioned off on their platform. The name attracted a lot of attention but closed at $5,050. Since this is a term synonymous with blockchain technology, which is a trending topic at the moment, many expected this to close higher.
This discussion is all based around investor expectations for the Decentralization.com sales price, with many feeling that the name could have sold for a higher price than it did. What do you think of this sales price?
