Thanks - I want to focus specifically on GD (with a poll).

I think their interface sucks but:

Lowest prices FOR ME.

Great integration with marketplace.

Great support, for me.

Then cast your vote :)

I did, I linked to the real poll.

It was:
NameSilo
GoDaddy
Dynadot - I like this one as well. Has the best (new reg) .com prices during the year.

At the end of the day, it really doesn't matter. If you find a registrar you like, it doesn't matter other people's opinions on it. I think NetSol is the worst but if somebody out there likes them, then they like them, doesn't matter to me.

Hard to rate. Too big company, a lot of services and departments. I wanted to vote, but could not select anything. As a domainer, I have to use GD. Thanks to my GD account manager (and to @Joe Styler here), I am able to do so. It works. A lot things can and should be improved, but in many cases it is "mission impossible" to correctly escalate this or that particular bug. I already "gave up" reporting some things for example. Or, it would be the company policy or decision ( to develop the current interface for example, or to run expired auctions in the way we currently see). Should an enduser ask me where to register the domain, I'll probably suggest him some alternatives. As an enduser will have access to "regular" support channels only (in case of GD).

I think it's not at all realistic to try to sum up GoDaddy in a poll like this. Particularly since the choices you gave are pretty specific and likely don't even cover what most people actually think. (Asking people to vote on these specific choices will create misrepresenting results)

In all honesty .. they've got the best expiration stream aftermarket .. far and away. If you're a serious domainer it's impossible to avoid them.

They have fairly good customer service.

But their platform is garbage. Full of bugs and other issues. It is slowly getting better. But better than horrible is still bad.

Whether I'd recommend them or not depends completely on the person in question and what their requirements and objectives are.

They have fairly good customer service.
At one time it was email support and it was good, and prompt.
Now is is terrible quality, English poor enough to not be sure of meaning, slow, unreliable, untrustworthy. I hate the thought of having to contact them about anything at all.

But no I have not stopped using them, I just keep it to the absolute minimum.

I would use Godaddy anytime if they fix the folder management. So many bugs and slowdown it makes it impossible to manage your folders. This is the main reason I picked Dynadot as my main registrar. The best part is that I even pay for DDC so I get cheaper renewals on expired domains and I transfer them later to Dynadot 🤷‍♂️
