From my dealing with NetSol sellers, they mostly have no idea that NetSol are now allowing sellers to expedite the transfers of domains away from NetSol.

Here is what NetSol's email to the seller says..

DOMAIN NAME TRANSFER Attention: (Name of Seller) Re: Transfer of (Domain Name being Transferred) Network Solutions received notification on September 26th, 2019 8:12:05 P.M. EDT that you have requested a transfer to another domain name registrar.

If you want to proceed with this transfer, you do not need to respond to this message. If you wish to cancel the transfer, please contact us before September 30th, 2019 8:12:05 P.M. EDT by: send an email to [email protected] or go to our website https://www.registrar-transfers.com?h=b16824520b6820970eccc122fbdd70bd

If we do not hear from you by September 30th, 2019 8:12:05 P.M. EDT, the transfer will proceed. Sincerely, Network Solutions® Customer Support

It is not clear from this email. BUT, if you go to their website https://www.registrar-transfers.com?h=b16824520b6820970eccc122fbdd70bd, you are given the option to expedite the transfer. What you see is this form

Change Registrar to Network Solutions - Authorization

DOMAIN NAME TRANSFER - Confirmation of Registrar Transfer Request
Attention: (Owner Name)

Re: Transfer of (Domain Name)

Network Solutions LLC received notification on Thursday, September 26, 2019 8:12:05 PM EDT that you have requested a transfer to another domain name registrar. If you want to proceed with this transfer, you must respond by confirming below before Monday, September 30, 2019 8:12:05 PM EDT.

If we do not hear from you by Monday, September 30, 2019 8:12:05 PM EDT, the transfer will proceed.

Transfer Request Initiated By: -1

Confirming Account Holder/Primary Contact Email: (Owner eMail)

Domain Name.............Account Holder (Registrant)...........Confirm.......Reject
(Domain Name).......................(Domain Owner)...........................o................o
..............................................................................................Confirm All....Reject All

.....................................................Submit....Cancel

Please click the "Submit" button to continue with the Change Registrant Process.
Click the "Cancel" button to stop the process.

Make sure the Confirm circle is greyed out. And click on the Submit. The domain gets released earlier than the latest date under most circumstances. It's not immediate, like at GoDaddy, but at least it is released earlier.

Is this still working? I'm having great difficulty getting sellers to click these links.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
they will take minimum five days to transfer even if you fill this form.

My experience is if you click it through the email it will be transferred in 3 to 4 days.

I personally have had one transfer in 2-3 days. But I think that must have been an oddity. But I'm not sure I agree with @drsheraz.

The biggest problem for me is actually education sellers to click thru to these links. It's not easy describing it because NetSol are so vague. IMHO. Which motivated to post this thread. As an easy reminder ;)

Same here, doing a ton of transfers and the link is not a necessary step but it seems to speed up the process.

I have clicked on that link to speed up the process on some transfers from Netsol some time ago, but after seeing that it just takes 4 days insead of 5, y just let pass the 5 days on the following transfers... one day more one day less... Netsol things.

I prefer to have my domains out of NetSol's hands at the absolutely earliest possibility. Even 1 day more, is one day too long. Oftentimes, it can be 2 or more days, and sometimes none. It seems like a crap shoot.

The problem being is there is no real obligation on the seller to comply. What's waiting 1 or more days? Well 1 or more days in a transfer, is important to me at least. 1 less thing that can go wrong, if the domain is satisfactorily transferred.

What Netsol should do is really to speed up the process, and not waiting 4 days after clicking the link. Anyway you have reason, one day is one day.
I am talking about transfers to myself.

3 days with approval
5 days without approval

Here is my problem, in a nutshell. It's not necessary inasmuch that the domain WILL get transferred EVENTUALLY. But I would expect SELLERS to have the courtesy to speed up the transfer process, wherever possible. But I've had tons of sellers here on NP which swear blind to me NETSOL DON'T DO THIS, even when I've asked them to click on the link in the eMail NETSOL send for every transfer. They just refuse to click the link, and the buyer just has to wait.

I read somewhere that if you call NS, then transfer could be expedited.
lets try to call them and see what happens.

When you call Netsol they will send you the Auth Code. If you don't call them, the Auth Code would be sent in 3 days.
But for the domain transfer, there is no option to approve the transfer the same day at Netsol. If you click on their email confirmation link, the transfer should be done in 3-4 days. If you do not click, it will be done in 5-6 days.
In my experience.

The soonest I got it was 48 hours after confirming their email and that was at one registrar. All others it made it 4 days exactly.

if not for snapnames I doubt any domainer would ever visit netsol

My experience with NetSol was quite pleasant, not a single incident.

But because they don't have 2FA, & some other reasons, I continue to transfer out.

Smooth transfers.
