Lars Lofgren wrote a very good piece on QuickSprout about the psychology of pricing. The article is very much worth a read for those selling names both actively and passively. Nice one. I believe so when I look at the price at which some domains sale.

Makes complete sense to me. The higher the value, the more it is perceived have higher quality than something priced that anyone else could get.

Same thing like comparing cars. Anyone could get something like a Ford or a Chevrolet. Not that the cars are bad, but they don't have that same perceived status like Mercedes Benz or any of those other brands that not many people can afford.

Good read! Thank you. I really liked the part about the value of time over cost. I'm going to have to consider ways to incorporate a time value into my outbound efforts.

Have any of you noticed particularly better results when you mention things like "quick and simple process" to potential end users?
