I have always loved and supported and fought for Godaddy.
However, they are falling off real fast. A few weeks ago, I made some small sales here on NP and I wasn't able to push the names to the new owner. Actually i was able to push the names, but According to Godaddy.. customers weren't able to accept or receive the names. I thought that was just for that week.
Today I was told by a buyer that they still didn't receive their name. I resent the email and re did the process and they keep getting this invalid message when they try to accept name. I even get that similar message sometimes when i follow through their email to approve a contact change.
How can i do business successfully if a client has to go through this??????
Also, when i change the nameservers or forwarding for a couple names at once(bulk), they nameservers end up changing for every single name in my portfolio and screws up my websites and others. smh
And this is with their new domain managment interface. It is teribble...
To safely update one name, i don't even select it and choose from the menu at the top to forward. That sometimes give problems and it sometimes caused all the names to be forwarded even though i only selected one name.
I literally have to click on the name and then from that page, click DNS, then to safely update a domain name.
What other domain name registrars do you recommend?
I love Godaddy and trust them, but i expect more from them when it comes to their main product.
I really hope they are not becoming like McDonalds: poor food but they survive because of their branding and marketing.
