question How to Check if the domain is sold before?

Hello Members, Is there any way to find out if the domain is previously sold before?

Like if I am hand registering a domain, how can I know if this domain was ever registered before and dropped and also if its been sold before?

Hoping for a reply.

I guess the first question can be answered by this: https://archive.org/web/ (AKA the Wayback machine).

As to sales of the name, perhaps more difficult if they didn't make places like DNJournal.com or the like.

There are many domains that doesn't show up on Namebio like some Godaddy sales.

Check out hosterstats.com to now if a name has been registered or dropped but as for sales record lot of sales didn't get reported in both namebio or godaddy.

A lot of people says that they have registered a domain that was sold previously. How do they find such domains that are available as well as sold before?

You can go through dropped list from expireddomain and check if it's has been sold before . Other members who has done it can give more insight concern that , also waiting for people response.
