If Trump flipped and became a Democrat tomorrow, they would love him and name streets after him.

haha, no.

Chris Wallace of Fox owning Sarah Sanders, about 6 minute mark. Where she said 4,000 terrorists coming thru. Wallace points out it's thru the airports. 0 thru border

Touré @Toure

I was extremely disappointed to see Speaker Pelosi say Black Lives Matter and then quickly couple it with the hollow phrase all lives matter. The impulse to combine the two to is offensive.

Apparently, saying "all lives matter" is racist and Speaker Pelosi is not woke ( enough ).

Populist Italian Interior Minister Matteo Salvini has slammed Saudi Arabia, the host of the Italian football Super Cup, for not allowing single women to attend the match without a man accompanying them.
Salvini said that he would not be attending or even watching the match which pits Juventus against AC Milan despite being an AC Milan supporter, Il Giornale reports.

“I won’t watch that match,” Salvini said and added, “Soccer is a slave to business and television.”

The match, which is set to be held on January 16th in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, has been hailed by Serie A president Gaetano Micciche as a “historic” match that could drive Saudi women to take up the sport.

Along with Salvini, several other politicians have criticised the choice of location for the match such as Brothers of Italy leader Giorgia Meloni who said, “Women can only go in the family areas, not alone, because Islam does not allow it, so an Italian woman who wanted to buy a ticket to watch the game alone or with a group of friends can not do it.”

Here is how it works .. if you believe we should have open borders .. simply REMOVE YOUR FRONT DOOR in protest to President Trump's policies.
Also, include a sign welcoming ANYONE and EVERYONE to come in and take anything they want. Come on, do it for the children.

Scary Huckabee Panders, one of the biggest liars in our Gov't, only eclipsed by the President himself. The difference? She gets paid to lie.

Heard from someone who works for immigration courts, currently working w/o pay.
How is the shutdown affecting them?
Cases against, for example, people charged with felonies for reentry w/o documents, and with prior felony convictions, are getting dismissed because with employees furloughed they don’t have the staff to prepare the cases!
Yup. Great way to keep those borders safe...

Texas has 850 miles of border. Rep. Congressman Will Hurd from San Antonio doesnt want the stupid wall:

“We are monitoring or keeping track of the wrong metric. It is not how many miles of wall that is going to keep us safe. Are we keeping bad guys and are we keeping drugs out of our country? The best way to do that is with technology and manpower. Building a wall from sea to shining sea is the most expensive and least effective way to keep the border secure.”
Hurd is in favor of a much less costly “smart wall” (as are many democrats)

“A Smart Wall using technology, we can deploy that for under a billion dollars all through the entire border, and do that within a year. That is how we secure our border. That is how we have operational control of the border and making sure that we are protecting the American people.”
He proposed this, but techno-nots Ryan and McCarthy shot it down.

He also points out the necessity of addressing the root cause. Smart man. If you want to fix anything, address the cause, not the symptoms.

Technology is overrated. It won't intercept human bodies. You still need patrols with cars helicopters or whatever all along the fence. Manpower. Low-tech stuff.

It's not about building a wall and be done with it. It has to be manned all the time and this is where it's expensive. Technology does not eliminate the requirement for manpower. I'm sure the members of Congress realize that. They know the real cost is going to be substantially higher and they would be lying to the American people if they were to pretend otherwise.

The amount that 45 is demanding is not too high, it is deceptively low.

Agreed. Technology can make it more efficient to monitor, (and a lot cheaper than the physical wall) but in the end you still need it manned or someone will find a way in where it is not.

I do like the concept of putting more focus on addressing the problem at the source. Help these source countries get their situations back under control so there’s less motivation to emigrate. “Teach a man to fish...” etc. Help them reduce violent crime and gang problems and we’ll see fewer migrants from those countries.

I know who will disagree on that, but in the long run we are the ones who would benefit.

Everything affects everything else.

Pew study show a majority if would be emigrants were victimized at least once and most of them multiple times in the past year. Leaving everything you’ve ever known to walk a couple thousand miles (with kids!) and cross deserts isn’t something done on a whim, its an act of desperation.

The Lie of Technology, recall in the 90’s someone joked about it. Very true.

But—— > More Manpower = More Police. More employees and billions in overhead. Increase size of govt. A wall is cheaper.

So do I. But Unfortunately, past AID experiences in Africa for example the money does not go to those who need it. Their corrupt leaders take it and corrupt management or excess admin overhead usurp it. If money is managed like a domestic program management effort on official contract with 3rd parties, it might work.

Not only cheaper, can't be bribed, turned off. Saving also come from reduced crime.

Dumbing down of America. California is doomed. This is repeating the same mistakes of past BS Equal Opportunity programs. People hired based on diversity, not competence.

Imagine if basketball teams needed to hire under these dumb diversity standards. Lol. Not on height, weight or physical ability, but hire equally based on race. To include more White people. Joke.

can't be bribed,

Forgot about that one. I wonder how much of this goes on? Imagine well healed Coyotes and criminals could have lots of cash to smuggle drugs in for bribing $40k a year agents stuck patrolling way out in the remote sections middle on the desert.

I worked for a utility company that went on a diversity drive. Women / minorities were being promoted without regard to experience, into jobs they couldn't handle. Including engineering.

Some rose to the challenge, most ended up in dead end, low level positions. The smart ones voluntarily returned to non-management union jobs.

Human nature. We'd probably be shocked by the truth.

Sounds better than my experiences, at least they moved the incompetence out to dead end jobs. I have seen instances where in large corporations would promote “within” up the ranks simply to get rid of incompetent people out of their department. Then repeat that several times until you have a incompetent loser upper mgmt VP or Director screwing things up. And, then in time complete business segment failures.

Then again, I had a Sales Manager boss whose Sales forecasts were way off, and based on bad data the company grew too fast, they hired too many people, later laid them off, then ushered him out to “business development”. Then moved him out as an exclusive territory, independent Sales Rep where he became very wealthy.
