I have a few websites and I use adsense in-article ads.
Sometimes these ads are not displayed inside posts.
The big problem is not less banners, but ugly look where sometimes there are empty spaces instead of banners.
So I found the solution, now at least aesthetically my websites look ok.
The solution is very simple and easy - just asign class to adsense banner space and add background-color and background-image:
background: #CCDDAB;
background-image: url("http://domain.com/img.jpg");
Example: http://ancientmayanruins.com/joya-de-ceren/
If you see adsende banner, just open another post, in some posts adsense doesnt show ads, then instead of blank space it is possible to see related image or logo or whatever you want..
Just wanted to share, because sometimes I see websites for sale with the same problem and then website looks ugly and not so attractive for potential buyer..
