I thought I'd start a new break room thread. The great thing about this thread is you can say whatever the heck you want (except adult) and it's ON TOPIC.

All you have to do is post whatever is in your head when you are here. Simple.

Here are some acronyms we like to use:

YPSBT Your Post Sucks Big Time
YPITDB Your post is the dog's bollox
LPOD - Last Post of Day
FPOD - First....
SPOD - Second.
FPOTWN - Funny Post of the Week Nominee

Featured Friends
Johname - he doesn't have a cool nickname except johname. He is a legend. He is our local animation expect.
DU/Grace Delete aka __ aka Rickey (due to propensity to retire).
Iowa - Your source of gas prices, bacon futures, and stuff.
JBLions - Will teach you about mattress purchasing, beer, and how to remove birds from cages
Briguy Debartolo - More NP$ than everyone

JDAB - He has hot women on his new bed... but he worked hard for them
Rogue - Called Rouge more often than the movie Moulin Rouge
Cyberian - He goes by Cy. He's older than the forum. Likes the lakers and pops in sometimes to offer support and counselling.
NS - He doesn't look like the cartoons. He's an enigma. His avatar is usually hot.

SPECIAL SPECIAL GUESTS
Blobfish and girlfriend.

Grace Delete / DefaultUser / WorldsWorstDomainer will personally thank EVERY SINGLE post in this thread UNTIL someone says something about post count and gets too obsessed about reputations and starts gaming the system etc.

^ That has happened so no more ...was fun while it lasted.

Johname will personally LIKE every post in this thread until he doesn't

No racist, sexist, homophobic material that woudnt be acceptable in the 70s please.
We are ok with boobs and we are ok with men with abs (or whatever it is that makes them attractive). Ogling is healthy. Violence, not accepting that it is shallow and non-meaninful judge of people etc. is not. The most important virtue of this thread is respect for all.

Here are some topics that this thread has had:

I AM PERSONALLY UNDECIDED ON SOME POLITICS so things like the below?
I think the crowd should decide.

Yeah can understand why no"affiliation" with Olive Garden (correct me if I am wrong) but Olive Garden not known for it's lean meat....
Threw away some shriveled blueberries this morning.
Ate grapes instead....
Everyone, eat grapes and forgo the blueberries....
For I do believe, unless it is MAINE blueberries, they are impostor berries.
Grapes = 16 grams of sugar per 100 grams
https://www.google.ca/search?rlz=1C....0...1c.1.64.psy-ab..2.3.504....0.fehZ63at7ig
Blueberries = 10 grams of sugar per 100 grams

For some people SUGAR is Bad..

Maine blueberries may be good but my best memories of picking wild blueberries as a family is priceless!

Of course, hard to top blueberry wine (for me anyway)

Grew up in Maine....remember many years picking fresh blueberries.
Yes, I have to watch sugars....
Actually the carbs....
Since Feb. 5th, I have not had my main diabetic medication, metformin.
Thus, I am on really a low carb diet.
Doctor still thinks I should go to another med to take the place of metformin,
but told him as long as my blood sugar stays in a certain range,
I am happy.

Yesterday, after a few years of yakking about it and looking at all there is....
we got a single serve coffee maker!
Takes either ground coffee or pods.

Heard about pickle juice and exercise...
https://www.bestfoodfacts.org/picklejuicesportsdrink/
"Pickle juice contains a large amount of sodium – about 4 times that in sports drinks, and if you exercise or sweat a lot, you need sodium in your diet to replace what is lost. After exercise, those who drink pickle juice probably do so in combination with other fluids like water or a sports drink in addition to resting, which reduces cramping."

Can't imagine a slushy..(without alcohol lol)

Yes nothing like picking your own berries unless it also within a bears food zone..

Fruitose (fruit sugar) is the lesser of all "evils" (types of sugars)!

Orange juice (https://intpolicydigest.org/2014/02/12/science-behind-orange-juice/ ) been used a few times when sugar level were real low, followed by dry toast with peanut butter about fifteen minutes later ..of course dealing with a type1 diabetic!

Great news about metaformin...my thinking is heathy eating better than relying on meds..

Wow @briguy was gonna ask a favor, it seems so harsh now, just one more loss, please, on Sunday. Have been (gag) rooting for your RWs for rooting interest purposes and only now looked at the record. After that you can go ten wins in a row : grin :

No more OG in Ontario for a few years now..used to love going there.

Sharp objects and loose bricks. Britain is trying out a "manageable risk environment" in playgrounds for the kiddies..an attempt to instill an appreciation for the risks in the real world pain at a young age. Pretty cool idea, everyone bubble wraps their most precious cargo nowadays. But...but but but..this could go horribly wrong, I mean, loose bricks?? This is either a secret study to seperate the psychos from the normals as soon as possible, or a gateway for the next project: Give the kids firearms in the playground, instill an appreciation for early retirement.

Don’t watch this video of a malfunctioning chair lift if you ever plan to ski again

Operator flipped a reverse switch and it dumped people to the ground

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news...ver-plan-to-ski-again/?utm_term=.b0d749fc7139

Please no operator meddling comments lol

The one video on that page didn't look so bad. For those that jumped off a couple of feet off into the snow, nice soft landing, not too high. You know I never went skiing in my life, even tho I lived in places Germany, Upstate New York where I was close. I probably would have broken every bone in my body. Have went snowboarding before tho.

Then these other 2:

Looks like a kid at the 45 second mark, that looked bad

Another angle, some people went flying
