As a custom script, probably low/mid 4 figures right away. Very nice service btw - simple to use, I registered several and will try them out in my social posts.

It's awesome that you are offering this for free - that deserves a huge thank you. One thing I'd ask is if/how do you plan to monetize if you grow beyond a certain user base, where you'll need to think about support and costs of running the page.

One thing you could do is add a privacy option for a reasonable fee or as part of a membership. Personally I want my links out there in the public eye as much as possible, so I don't mind them being seen in the directory, but just a thought for folks who might want or need that option.

I'd say this is off to a great start, and I've bookmarked it to use - good luck with the site!

I'd like to add, I reg'd a few more and was browsing your terms and other pages and I see that you have it in the footer, but it would also help users to have the logo link back to the home page.

I will also add a link to the logo back to the main site.
As well, to monetize, I can add the classic 5 to 10 seconds wait on redirect to the URL, but I know that is frustrating to the public, If you visit no_url_shorteners/g to wait 10 seconds to go to google and you want instant redirection. I will have to think at this.

I also removed the redirected to part from the directory as from your tip with the privacy.

Just fixed a bug where one could create a short url using a dot between two words, like no_url_shorteners/goo.gle for example, this will concatenate to no_url_shorteners/google

I've just added no_url_shorteners/42s, and it works well.

I've got a private shortening service on g8s.com, and I use that mainly to allow me to post links that include php queries. Sometimes these get stripped. The software I use is fairly old, and I think I installed it via Softaculous. One facility it has is the ability to add an interstitial.

I can add that, but I was thinking that I should add it at a later step, when the site is fairly used. Right now I get about 10-15 visits a day.

I used interstitials on a different domain, but I stopped using that domain because I didn't want to mess with all the links. I didn't research too much, but I think the ads had to be included in all links, rather than being link specific.

Just made the last updates for this year

- site wide announcements;
- search bar to search if a tag is available or not;
- site navigation bar which includes the previous two

Seems like the admins of this forum banned my website so I cannot post a link to it. This is bull, how can someone appraise something when the link is banned ? I do not know why though.

I think the problem stems from trying to moderate links that are run through shorteners. I've had problems with posting links through my g8s site, and this is on a variety of forums, not just this one. Link shorteners let you include php variables, and these are often blocked.

If I'm not wrong, you did a torrent search engine, do you still have it?

I don't have it anymore since it appears that indexing bigger search engines get you banned, so i didn't had any luck with it. It never went live.

make a modern material design. with SSL

This is the initial release. Don't know about the ssl though.. . I do not have user registration and i do not sell any goods on my website, so i think it's useless.
