information How to Follow NamesCon 2017 If You're Not There

NameSilo
NamesCon, one of the largest global domain name conferences is happening right now in Las Vegas, with recent estimates putting the attendance at over 1,400 people from forty-three countries. While there are over 1,400 attendees, there are thousands more who didn't make the trip to Vegas.

I wanted to share with you some of the ways that you can stay up-to-date with NamesCon, even if you're not at the event. Please note that this isn't a paid or promoted article but simply an informational piece if like me you're not in Las Vegas.

NamesCon 2017 is taking place in Las Vegas
Social Media
NamesCon has an official presence on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram through which you'll be able to see regular updates from NamesCon, thanks to the team that's there. The Twitter feed that I'm following has also retweeted a couple of tweets from attendees, which is interesting.

DNJournal
DNJournal's Ron Jackson (@Duke), has written his first account of NamesCon 2017. His article covers the highlights of Sunday, the first full day of the conference. Alongside from Ron's detailed coverage of day one are a multitude of photos from the Tropicana Hotel in Las Vegas, where the conference is being held.

Over the course of the next few days, Ron is set to publish more articles that document the previous day's events.

NamesCon Live
Something that I hadn't noticed until last night was NamesCon Live, which is a live streaming service provided by a partnership between NamesCon and .Live to allow non-attendees to sit in on a select few events every day.

If you navigate to NamesCon.Live, you'll see a list of all of NamesCon 2017's events. Those events with a "will be live" emblem next to them will be live streamed.

NamesCon's Blog
If you visit NamesCon's news section of their official website, you'll notice several articles there that do an excellent job of recapping some of the most recent NamesCon events. This morning, I've been reading about finding geo-targeted domain names and Michael Cyger's (@DomainSherpa) "Domain Investing 101: Raising Your Game" session.

At last year's NamesCon, NamePros filmed many short interviews with leading domain investors, bloggers, and other prominent figures within the domaining community. If you're interested in watching any of those interviews or NamesCon highlights, you'll want to head over to the NamePros YouTube Channel. Subscribe and select the bell icon to be alerted when new videos are published. NamePros will be releasing new videos over the coming weeks.

I can't believe the DomainSherpa Review tomorrow won't be live!
This is probably one of the most fun show to watch for people not attending Namescon.
