RE: Autonomous & Driverless car domains

Seems like there's a lot of news lately, as recently as the last few days, of advances in driverless & autonomous cars. There are multiple auto makers getting ready to launch some form of these cars, and of course, Google is working on their project car.

I have a handful of domains related to this news & technology, and I am wondering if anybody else has any? Also, any spike in traffic to your domains, or news of sales???

Thanks , they are indeed great , and soon in auction . .not putting lame keywords in this auction

basically , its where the industry is headed , all about Sharing ,Shareable and it will go hand in hand with Autonomous .
I agree

Apple tells feds ‘new entrants’ to auto industry should get same testing rights as incumbents

Apple last week submitted a letter to the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) that suggests it’s interested in testing self-driving cars.

The company appears eager to work with other companies in a data-sharing effort but is also keen to preserve privacy, which is in line with the hard-line stance it took in the Apple-FBI controversy earlier this year.

The letter is the clearest indication yet of Apple’s ongoing interest in and knowledge of autonomous vehicles, despite reports that Apple was rolling back plans to build its own vehicle. As Steve Kenner, Apple’s director of product integrity, wrote in the letter, which is dated November 22:

Apple uses machine learning to make its products and services smarter, more intuitive, and more personal. The company is investing heavily in the study of machine learning and automation, and is excited about the potential of automated systems in many areas, including transportation.

I had a couple inquiries a bit ago for a couple 'pilotless' .coms, to see if I'd be interested in selling them. But I'm thinking to possibly use them for a project or 2.

Self-driving Car Service Poised To Change The Future Of Personal Transportation On Display At CES

French Technology Company REVA2, To Showcase The First Clean Energy Transportation System Combining Automated Public and Individual Use

Nice, France - December 2, 2016 (Investorideas.com Newswire) With the potential to drastically reduce traffic, accidents, and our carbon footprint, self-driving cars present a bright future for our environment and our economy.

Although the technology for self-driving cars has been developed, why haven't we seen them on the road yet? The answer is simple -- there is no system in existence that can guide these cars safely through busy city streets ... Until now.

With a view toward the total disruption of public and private transportation as we know it today, France-based technology company REVA2 (reva2.eu) has designed the first clean energy transportation system that combines automated public and individual use. It's a concept that - once finalized and adopted by major metropolitan areas - will essentially bring a 22nd century concept of public transit into our world.

The user will start by booking a REVA2 vehicle on his or her smartphone/tablet/pc/kiosk and wait - potentially only a matter of minutes - as a self-driving car is automatically dispatched to the user's location. Once the vehicle arrives, the user (and users) will enter a cabin configured entirely for passenger use, and the ride is underway. Designed to emerge as a major innovation in the self-driving car industry, the vehicle will follow a guiding thread - also developed by REVA2 - known as the Blue Line System, which allows for the use of fully automated vehicles without assistance from a driver. Should the user wish to travel to a part of the city in which the guiding thread has not been installed - or beyond the city limits - the driver's seat will swivel to allow access to a traditional vehicular configuration for side-street or intra-city personal transport.

The Future Of Transportation?

If you ask me, I’d say self-driving cars are going to change transportation forever — to the same extent as the original automobile. Legislation aside, these things are ready to hit public streets in three to five years. They have the potential to be so much safer and more effective than human drivers that I wouldn’t be surprised if, in a decade or two, the discussion is about whether we should still allow people to drive manually. With that said, there are still plenty of challenges to consider before robots can drive us all around.

Just has a high $xx offer through on sedo for the domain:

Autonomous Pod (.com)

After sedo standard commission and fees would have left me with about $18 lol

Countered lowest $x,xxx possible ;)

Sedo's standard $60 cut makes it impossible when low offers come in.

Yeah for $18 you might as well keep it.

Yeah for $18 you might as well keep it.

Yes in the UK autonomous vehicles have been called in the media "Pod"

Also companies who are offering autonomous deliveries by Robots have also referred to the word "Pod".

So the way I see it this could be a brandable word used in either the car or robot industry so yes for $18 I would not consider letting it go.

‘Disruptive Triangle’ of Technologies Promises Opportunity to Improve Quality of Life for Billions

By Carlos Ghosn
Chairman and CEO, Renault-Nissan Alliance

The disruptive triangle of electrification, autonomous drive and connectivity technology is forcing the global auto industry to rethink how our cars will operate in the future, and how we will use them.

If we get it right, the technology being developed and tested today eventually will provide for a world in which people are able to move about more efficiently, more safely and more cleanly, at lower cost and in different ways. It could improve the quality of daily life for billions of people.

Three primary factors are driving this technological revolution:

Population growth: It’s estimated that by 2030, 60 percent of the world’s population will live in metropolitan areas, as the number of “megacities” – those with more than 10 million people – increases. That means more traffic jams, pollution and energy use.

Climate change: Combating climate change is the key mission of our generation, particularly for those of us in the auto industry. More restrictive emissions standards are on the way to help fulfill the goals of the 2015 Paris climate accord, and advanced powertrains, in particular electric vehicles, can help mitigate the effects of climate change.

Rapid innovation: We are in an era of tremendous, rapid technological advancement, one that is disrupting old business models and forcing industries to change. The global auto industry is no exception; I expect it to see more changes in the next five years than it has in the last 20.

Yeah I was looking at it but the registrar is the main issue. Whoever get its will get a deal I am sure.

@marcm got it :) congrats marc, push has started already.
Registrar is fine and you can transfer after 2months .

Funny thing is that the singular ShareableVehicle.com is on a 20$ bid and ends in about 5 hours.

Not bad for recent handregs, especially the BIN sale. Great sale, great ROI.

Cheap codes aside, sticking with GD moving forward might bring in higher prices for new names, IMO.

Here's to more great sales for all in this niche...
