Paypal wants “Paypal.Me to Become a Catchphrase”

Paypal has launched a site on Paypal.me to allows users to set up a vanity address on Paypal.me so instead of giving someone an email address to send you money you can tell them to send money to paypal.me/blogs

Well, I guess .me is one of the better extensions when combined with the right domain.

I added some available to a post I wrote on TheDomains this morning names like DomainSales, Brokerage, GTLD, LLLL,NNNN,TLDS were available. DomainSales, Brokerage, TLDs taken now.

I took Yar, my name backwards which I have used for a lot of stuff over the years.

Getting rid of the technical hurdles of having buttons, and removing the need for eMail addresses is a fantastic idea for paypal to finally implement.

Thought I would also secure one of the rare 3 letter words that happens to be a product and turn it into a custom URL payment link for one of my site projects.

Though it may end-up being used as a 'payment service' for the pay @PDF market... which is one way to "capitalize on these names".

you could take a free name you think worth and offer it on a forum.
When an user pay you, you will move to another name.
i hope for you that meanwhile you change handle anyone take it, otherwise you need to refund him.
