The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
No and the same goes for the rest of the junk extensions that may be soon released.

Same here.
Why should I even pay any interest in .pw ?

Because of other unexperienced domainers who would pay you for .pw more than you paid ;)

I dont think it is a good extension, btw.

Had to laugh when i saw some of the acronym meanings for PW (yeah i know password too):

Proved Wrong
Profit Warning
Pathetic Wanker

Somehow these meanings match the extension and its chance of success :D

At last this domain registration fee is not that big, reseller club is planning to sell them at $7,50

My favourite thing about this extension has been their advertising... something about missing out on the .com landrush but winning by getting 'even better' .pw domains in 2013.. LOL

(I'm not getting any)

I actually broke down and bought 3 domains that I will just have developed or pointed to what I already own in .pro.

investmentadvisor, financialplanning and financialplanner all in .pw

Sadly I bought one.. just one..

Punches self in head...

I checked 3 names... two appear to be reserved? are they even doing that? Of course they are....

Who knows what will happen within the next years. But now it's the time to take advantages of this lack of information and maybe earn some money :)
Got one today just because $4.99 is not so much to worry about.

:talk:

jeez, put a banner on top of the site and folks can't wait to reg some

.pro didn't work so they try to brand .pw as professional?

it's a ".pretty weak" brainwashing effort but many newbs will fall for everything

$4 here, $7 there, $2 over here, damn that's $13 already

new extensions = newbie heaven = registrar profits

then

newbie heaven becomes renewal fee hell, and the beginning of the .pw drop-a-thon

let's visit this next year!

dot pure wackness

You'd be better off playing with yourself.

Other imagined meanings include:

- powerful weed
- potato world
- purified water
- popcorn wishes
- purple wheels
- pot watch

Warning: Buying .pw domains can result in:
- increased hallucinations e.g. receiving "offers"
- and financial distress

Powerful Wizardry!

You're all just jealous because you missed out on the great names.

It's all about increasing my Personal Wealth while you remain Poor Wretches

I'm with DU. Didn't think all that much of the extension to begin with but their great advertising campaign won me over. I got a good handful of premiums :)

Let the naysayers....well naysay!

That is the next hook for the domain fishes. I had enogh of these. I will stick only to .com! However maybe some lucky minority will make some profit thanks to "the bigger fool" theory. Good luck.
