Why is my site still PR0? How do I increase this?

My site dankweed.com has been up since Nov of 2009 and is STILL page rank 0. Why? and how do I increase it? Can I do it free myself or will I have to spend money?

it is my understanding that google has not done a PR update for some time. I also seem to remember reading that it is only the visible PR that is changed when they do an update. ie, your PR may be higher than 0 right now but the visible pr = 0

I wouldn't be worried about pagerank too much. Just keep your website updated and focus on other important things.

its all true , you can not really know your true pr , this is not info google is letting everyone know , all those pr numbers are not really updated , also like InvisionTech wrote , u really should not care about it at all .

Just dropping a link to it in your signature here will help.

the more links (from high quality sites) the better for your pagerank (in simple terms)

disagree , i unexpectivly discovered my site carchannel.com.au is now pr1 and that has only happened recently

i suggest get links related to your content

backlink with your anchor is the best way to get your site page ranked. but the more thing is visitor. without visitor your site is worthless
