Sine the op registered tripgwow it is assumed he knows what it is. As for the extension, be it .com or any other tld, country level tld or new gtld, the extension doesn't matter to anyone (both human and robots), what matters is a good website with relevant contents. Go ahead @Roshaw.

Since you are providing so much info, I guess creating a blog for the domain with banners linking to sales page of all marketplaces (like afternic, sedo, daaz, etc) would be a better idea. You may earn some revenue from adsense till the domains are sold.
