I think the value would have been if it said "help" yourself rather than "helps". I don't think anybody says "helps yourself" and I think less people would type it into google. Not sure it has any value I'm afraid.

Bank is good, etc is a bit blazay and nobody likes a bank to be lazy or uninterested. So the names clash and aren't promoting the important image a bank would need which essentially is trust, safety and organised.

It's just my humble opinion, which is what you asked for when you posted your request for an appraisal. Of course anybody who offers you an estimate on what the value potential is, who says it has no value, always hope they are wrong and that you have every success in making money from the domain.

I don't know if I fully understand it. I tend to only buy domains that make sense from face value, i.e from the name alone. As I don't understand, I can't say its worth anything but it's value is what the buyer want so to spend on it. Personally, it's worthless.

Hi Gareth, I was approached for all of my .co.uk sales, so I can't say I've had that trouble. With GoDaddy your domains will be locked for around 6 months, I managed to get around that by doing a domain transfer via nominet.... I don't know if GoDaddy will tell me off but it's been around 6...

w3c is the consortium who set the standards for development on the web. They have copyrights, I'm unsure on the restrictions here. For that reason, anyone who would think about developing the domain will know of the w3c and shouldn't develop it. I think it could be more trouble than it's worth.

The idea is to get something that is generic, but not too generic or something specific, but not too specific. It's not easy to find the real balance but it is the trick to a successful domain. This I'm afraid is too specific and has only one revenue channel which will limit it's value...
