You can try "The Definitive Guide to CentOS" but from my experience, it's best to use a problem/solution approach where when you have a problem, you google it and find the best possible solution to your problem. Another suggestion is, do all your learning on another cheapo vps or old computer...

There's no way they can guarantee "does not include hops received from automated internet robots". There's just tooo many robots out there and so the filtration that happens from tracker to tracker will differ hence why you get the mixed results.

The slash means end of element. It should actually be <meta name=""></meta> but since it's an empty element with only attributes, it's written <meta name="" /> This is all basic XML. Read up on it a bit..

Whoever answers tickets sucks. I've had multiple issues of the sort that you describe but one phone call always does the trick. If you haven't called yet, I think that's the only way to get shit doen with Netfirms now.
