I think its an interesting idea -- I'd toy with adding some user interactivity or make it some type of "app". It never hurts to try something, even if others doubt it will work.. You just never know. I like the light feel of the site btw. Oh, I forgot to mention -- I can't try the app myself...

So I was think'n about liveaboard issues

A software sales & demo site

I happen to like simple. I always want things to just work... Have you considered turning this into an app? It looks like something Chromebook users and the like would find handy (+ anyone who doesn't know how to or don't feel like using photoshop or gimp). I'd suggest a bit more white space...

It might be matching a users profiling data from dart cookies, in which case it won't always match your content. That would be my guess. Also, it never hurts to go over some SEO suggestions.

I'd recommend heading over to hotscripts.com and checking out the scripts they have listed. I believe they might have CMS' geared for what your trying to do. In most situations, the "theme" (html/css) and the php are separated. You might have to learn some theming/skinning specific code...

Google Badges..A new domain niche to develop?

This is the first I've heard of the badges.. I'm glad they have them "private" by default unlike some other places. I'm no expert, but I think you might be onto something. I'd say, even if your unsure.. if you have the time and resources go for it! You just never know! (At least I don't LOL)...

I need urgent advice

Depending on how many sites you have in your root folder.. you could just give him an ftp account with access to the httdocs/www or whatever godaddy has for such. That would be "Hosting root" I'd imagine.
