Yes you're right. I've been thinking about some solutions as well. None of these will be perfect, but will improve the current situation.
The simplest solution would be to present a
warning on the Namebio site, that when you paste their data elsewhere, the outcome will not be reliable at all, and will cause a lot of confusion. Humans are able to read such a warning, and will not paste this data here any longer. Another solution is to make graphics of the sale amounts. Textual pasting will no longer be possible then.
What I think is most important, is that users of
@Michael 's great Namebio site will be made aware of it. At this moment, we have these discussions about unreliable amounts (without mentioning this, members wouldn't even know they are pasting unreliable data). Presenting the correct sales amounts is important in our discussions.
