What happened yesterday, which was lead by the President, was not funny in any way.

Very clearly that was a false flag PSY OP.

We all saw, clear as day, what happened. After a rally where Donald Trump spread lies, misinformation, and aired a list of grievances he commanded his people to march down to the capitol building and interfere with the democratic process.

That is exactly what they did with criminal and fatal results.

All of this, to protect the fragile ego of the loser in chief.

Trump said "remember this day" in a now deleted tweet...Oh, we will.
It will forever be a stain on Trump and anyone else responsible for this.

This is what you see in 3rd world countries.

It was a sad day for the country, but we will recover.

Donald Trump and the people who supported him to a point where this behavior was possible, and still are not willing to remove him, will have a stain on their legacies that will never recover.

Brad

Fake.

Totally agree. The loser-in-chief is totally crazy immersed in his self-built conspiracy lies, if someone still had a doubt before yesterday. So he is a too high danger to the US democracy.

DC mayor says Trump 'must be held accountable' for Capitol riot, demands control of Nat'l Guard

Washington D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser said Thursday that President Donald Trump instigated the storming of the U.S. Capitol and “must be held accountable for this unprecedented attack on our Democracy.”

Bowser said that Wednesday’s assault by a mob of Trump supporters was enabled by “catastrophic security failures” and called on Congress to “immediately transfer command” of the District of Columbia National Guard from Trump to her office to prevent a repeat of the violence that shocked the country and resulted in the deaths of four people.

What happened yesterday is the result of two months of daily crying and conspiracy spreading lies from Trump, two months of time to convince his fans that the election was stolen.
Yesterday's insurrection and sedition is just where it was going to go the conspiracy train built by the crazy in chief. The law, the Congress, the media, seemed to underestimate the daily spreading of lies from Trump on his twitter to his millions of followers during the last two months, convincing them, day by day, to really believe that the election was stolen, and that's very serious. The last two months have been a total incitement to a revolt, like what happened yesterday.
By the way, he did not just say "remember this day" but also that he "loves them and they are very special" to the Capitol attackers commiting sedition.
I think it's pretty clear who was the inciter of the revolt yesterday.

The calls are ramping up. We can't have this unhinged traitor with nuclear codes.

Schumer and Pelosi call for invoking 25th Amendment and says Congress could impeach if Pence does not act.

Michael Chertoff, former DHS secretary under Pres. Bush, says in statement: "Whether through resignation, impeachment and conviction, or invocation of the 25th amendment, President Trump must leave office immediately."

Yeah, Trump is getting off on this. It's not something he wants to stop. He's thinking, look at all these people fighting for me, risking their freedom, possibly their lives. It's basically a cult.

We are now up to, I believe, 5 dead in Trump's seditious coup attempt.

A US Capitol Police officer has died from events stemming from Wednesday's riot at the Capitol

I think we are going to find out more of the story, about why it was so easy for the mob to get into the capitol building...and who else was involved.

Congresswoman, Zoe Lofgren says the chief of the Capitol Police was "not truthful with me" about whether the Natl Guard was called up before Jan. 6. "It was just not true. They had not been called." Then, when woeful security became clear, DOD resisted sending them

MORE LOFGREN: "It took bipartisan leadership in congress and the vice president to get it done. By then we had rioters inside of the Capitol."

I think it's quite clear who incited the mob attack on the Capitol, the insurrection against the authority of the United States.

Prosecutors looking at Trump's role in riot

Washington's Acting U.S. Attorney Mike Sherwin said his office will consider bringing charges against anyone who played a role in the mob attack on the Capitol.

When asked if that could include President Trump for encouraging the mob to move on the Capitol, Sherwin would not rule it out.
