So Redline.ca was sold? Was it recent, as it still seems to be listed on Bonfire.

It was in the past, in 2019.
Redline.ca is kind of bought.
And I looked at the time and compared the offer to buy Redline.md (there was a refusal) and the term of the purchase of Redline.ca (after some time from the offer to buy Redline.md )
My Buyer was from Pakistan.

No, that time it was selected by a domain investor during a TBR run (and then auction), so it had nothing to do with what you're referring to - I thought you were referring to a recent Redline.ca sale from the subsequent Bonfire listing.

Finally another .CA cracks the Sedo Weekly Recap:

The ccTLD section begins with a bang, as we have a pair of 5-figure transactions to report, including serramenti.it selling for an even 25,000 EUR and onlinecasino.me changing hands at $20,000 USD. Other notable ccTLD transactions include...

And It Sold for $7K USD!

The .CA To Be Released / TBR Weekly Picks for May 29 are online:

The overall .CA numbers are on a clear downward trend , and a month ago we were looking at consecutive 10K TBR weeks. The domain quality is also taking a dip, and creating a Top Picks list wasn't a matter of what to take out, but figuring out if there were enough quality names to even warrant a list. In the end, we managed to find a couple that squeaked by and qualified for our Top Picks, led by...

You do amazing selfless research and work, I readz everything twice:)

I hope every week TBR will be so bad I will sit out but they always pull me back in. Anybody up for joining a domain support group where hugs and tears are welcome?:) (flashbacks of Fightclub and Godfather movies)

On a serious note. Did you order anything this week?

HeHe...

You give us a cliffhanger and direct us to another site, then we forget to come back here to post about it.

Try posting about the cliffhanger here instead.

Great domain balance.ca

It would not have been one of my top picks for a .ca and my gut would have been right about that because it only fetched 7k.

Yeah, I threw a couple of "taster's" orders in, just to see if any squeak by. It's a pretty low-end TBR list, with zero LLL premiums, so that might help my cause a bit.

I actually like the domain, and I think it sold for a fair price.

A lot of these 1-word .CAs are going to look under priced in a few years, as this exact-brand-match upgrade trend is really catching on, and as Highlander likes to say...

Damn, I forgot CIRA changed it to 3PM (and 2PM the other half of the year).

Two is also what i ordered. And they were not even on your list so it makes semi excited I might get them without an auction but makes me wonder if my picks are that poor:)

That depends on what type of domain these are - I'm pretty meticulous on one-words and only leave out the ones that are esoteric or fail quite a few tests. I may miss a few here and there, but I try pretty hard to get the really good ones.

If it's a multi-word or mixed-character domain, then it's very possible as there are just too many of them to catalog, and you could easily pull a winner out that's not on my list. Also. I usually stop at ~12 letters due to time and the industry's move towards shorter names.

Huh? Why would they do that?

The last update changed to UTC, which is constant and doesn't take into account daylight savings, so half the year it's 3PM EST and the other half is 2PM EST.

And yes, the Registrars just love that. :xf.eek:

Weird. Guess picking and sticking to a major Canadian time zone was too much for CIRA

2 minutes to go and I didn't get outbid on my "tasters" so let's see how it all turns out.

That's just sick - MyID took the first 9 picks in a row.

CIRA gave them a payback for their horrible showing two weeks ago? ;)

The .CA To Be Released / TBR Results & Leftovers Are Online:

This week’s .CA TBR list featured just over 9K domains (the tenth straight week of greater than 9K), but the quality was extremely low, and we even got another stack of 71 LLL domains (only 5 of which were picked) adding up to an amazing total of 155 3-letter drops over the last 2 weeks. The top 10 selections were a bit of a disappointment (especially considering a single Registrar grabbed the first 9) and included...
