OK you might find this funny (I still do tbh) but I actually went ahead and hand regged 86868688686868 in COM

I was wondering why are random N domains selling for ridiculous amounts of money. After a couple of minutes on this forum I knew it was the Chinese behind this mostly. Another 2 minutes on wikipedia (Chinese numerology) brought my attention to 2 specific numbers: 6 & 8
(text from wikipedia is in blue)

Why number 6?

-The number 6 (六, pinyin: liù) in Mandarin sounds like "slick" or "smooth" (溜, pinyin: liū). In Cantonese, 6 (Cantonese Yale: lok6) sounds like "good fortune" or "happiness" (祿, 樂 Cantonese Yale: lok6). Therefore six is considered a good number for business.

Why number 8?
-The number 8 (八, pinyin: ; Cantonese Yale: baat) sounds like "發" (pinyin: ; Cantonese Yale: faat; literally: "to prosper").

Why the double 8's in the middle?
There is also a visual resemblance between 88 and 囍 (pinyin: shuāng xĭ; Cantonese Yale: sēung héi; literally: "double joy"), a popular decorative design composed of two stylized characters 喜 (pinyin: ; Cantonese Yale: héi; literally: "joy").

The number 8 is viewed as such an auspicious number that even being assigned a number with several eights is considered very lucky.

So after reading this info, I went back to my GD account and tried around several variations of numbers that contain both 6 & 8 knowing that it is pretty hard to find any since all the 'good(?)' numbers are probably already registered. That's when I found 86868688686868 but still I wouldn't waste ~16 AUD on such weird combination of numbers so I opened a Namecheap account in order to use a ~90% discount coupon that brought the price to ~1 AUD and boom! Next thing I know I'm the proud owner of
86868688686868 in COM
Btw, there are 6 6's and 8 8's in there. Mind-blowing, right? (please say yes)

In the end, 1 AUD for a good laugh and probably some double joy, happiness, prosperity, luck, and good fortune in my domaining journey is surely worth it.

I just registered 86868688686867.com so mine is worth a little more than yours.

First, learn which numerics have value before purchase. From my little experience in numerics I know that even a 6N .coms have little to no value. of course a numeric like 777777 has value for example. Also check the numbers which they are using, before 4 and 0 are not preferred (except for zero at the end or sth like that). Anyway, be cool your thread is on topic now, just made a parenthesis. Your domain surely is not liquid, because it is very long. Liquids are the 5 N .coms or a 6 N like this I refered above. Again, read read read for these and ask for more info, as I am not specialized to numerics. Good luck.

Thanks for the advice. I read a little and I know that 0 and 4 are not preferred when working with numeric domains. The thing is I am not planning to sell the domain, I am not going to put any effort in looking for buyers. This is just to keep it in my portfolio for 'luck'. It actually brought some luck with it because in less than 1 hour after regging this domain I got my first hand regged domain approved on BB so that's a starter!
