I like .one extension a lot. plus I got a few offers on my .one domains lately so I am all warm fuzzy about it.

I decided to share some warmth by creating a showcase thread. it would be nice for me to hear your .one domains. who knows maybe we can even trade some.

here I go first:

  • 3-d.one
  • arcade.one
  • bookmark.one
  • copyright.one
  • dictionary.one
  • eternity.one
  • explorer.one
  • gambler.one
  • immortal.one
  • input.one
  • kinky.one
  • meta.one
  • metaverse.one
  • prototype.one
  • rep.one
  • satan.one
  • subject.one
  • terminal.one
  • torrent.one
  • virtualreality.one

and to get you more pumpted about .one, here is some great sales already, not by me:

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Someone just dropped huge.one today, after they hold it for 3 years, so I just registered it :)
(standard renewal)
It is my only .one at the moment...I like the extension, but somehow I missed the boat here.

I have 50-60 ".one" domains, all regged in May 2018 :) this tld was not advertised which was good for me to grab some good names :)
Lack of promotion is a very bad factor in terms of enduser inquiries... and that's why so many drops and tons are available...

well you know the drill.. you been domaining for long time I think.. so u know that not everything that was regged in 2015 automatically means it was worth regging...

;)

Very weak registry...
They sit in Dubai and do nothing...

true. they could use more advertisment.. but.. maybe they too busy counting their other sources of profit.. like oil money hahahhhha jk

like someone said before, in a way lack of advertisment is okay for domainers.. cause then they have more choice to reg.. from big drops of sometimes decent stuff.. or from originally registering in 2015.. where they had more choice because bad advertisement for .one...

but in naother way low advertisement not so good.. cause then maybe less sales..

still... there are sales.. and offers keep coming for many people.. so I think for now its okay..

truth of the matter is.. there are enough people around world following this extension that anything good if dropped would be picked immediately.

I don't see many sales and many offers...

And I don't see the immediate pickups...
I can say even more: some drops are available a few months already or even longer...

well.. you know how it is...
not all domains get offers.. sales.. and not all domains get picked when dropped.. but truth is.. the good stuff never drops anyway...

that goes for any extension pretty much

imo

When lack of visibility - even VERY good stuff is dropping and without any dropcatch competition... even after a few hours/days - they will be available...
I saw a lot of examples recently... but my budget is not unlimited... so I passed many and just recorded into my list.

Just look at https://www.one.com you wouldn't even know they operate .one. You literally have to look so hard on their page to see find any mention of .one. It's literally only mentioned one time (.one time!) far down on their page; and even then it's unclear they operate .one. It's obvious they have put forth absolutely zero effort to promote the extension.

that brings curious question.. is most of the premium priced .one stuff regged or not???

The operator of .one is One Registry over at nic.one, who should also be doing a way better job of promoting it. But yes they are controlled by one.com, which also offers registrations and hosting. So, a registrar is the controlling company of a registry. You would think this could be used to their benefit to owning a TLD..

Robot.one @ $500/year...hard to say if investors are holding them or not. I do not have any premiums in this tld, this is the only one I have seriously considered.

yes a few guys on here definitely had some big or huge one sales... i think top reported sale is round 6 or 7k... but there are always private sales in domaining too

i expect many more great sales from .one in future...hopefully couple will be mine heheheh3

No any regular renewals in this TLD...
All premiums have the same fee yearly.

I don't see the point of the registry forcing premium renewals on hacks...ie. "teleph.one". As these kind of names are mostly novelty that appeal to just a small group of DN aficionados or a once-in-a-lifetime business, the likelihood of it ever selling for the 1k renewal is slim to none.

Not many people understand these hacks, so why not just sell the name at a reasonable premium for the first year, and regular renewals after that? This way, someone like me could take it and "safeguard" it forever... :woot: or at least until the right buyer came along.

Ok, I got 2 more:
stronger.one & idiot.one (both standard renewal, $8/year)

Let see if I can resell "idiot" one :)

beeing doing some random surfing as usual.. and noticed few more .one sites.. it could be coincidence.. or if you wanna get optimistic.. it could mean .one is gaining popularity..

like this one example:

www.stable.one

pretty cool name too for crypto related stuff.
