Here's my question..what is the value of domain hack? I've seen some good domain hack and i was wondering about the value of it. I myself own one and i'm not sure whether or not i should get more. I haven't seen any sale of domain hack. Why do we register domain hack? Is it because the domain looks cool or because there's a potential end user who's willing to buy such domain?

Submitted and accepted about 6-8 domain hacks, we'll see how this auction goes.

Would my domain be considered a name hack?
7000.co.in
Like seven thousand coin - should I go for Sedo auction? (Although never had any luck with them previously).

Probably not, has to be something like do.gs or at worst bitco.in

Had the following domains approved:

Relationshi.ps
Aphrodisi.ac
Twilig.ht

Look out for them! ;)

Also had Midnig.ht approved, but the reserve wasn't agreeable...

Some really good names in there.

I wonder how much "de.al" will go for.....
Has to reach reserve first

Mine got accepted (inju.red). Hopefully it gets sold since I didn't put a high reserve. Noticed the .com for the keyword redirects to an injury law firm so might be a good one for a lawyer.

Since I never had a domain in one of sedo's special auctions before, it will be interesting to see how it and the other domain hacks do.

I remember an auction at Sedo, when wi.fi , sold for $19,000+ , the seller also noted the domain sold for $40,000 years ago.

Yesterday the search results in the sedo domain hacks auction, which is starting today, were showing 156 domains but now only 144. I wonder if some already got sold beforehand or a few got removed?

Good luck to everyone who has their domain in the auction!

Is there any chance to list domains to that auction now? I got stuck with domain ownership approvals and have them on Sedo only from today...

I don't think so because the entry deadline was April 19th and the auction has already started. Plus they take days for the approval process. But contact Sedo, who knows maybe they might agree to let in.

Names that I have really worth consideration. Does anyone have direct mail of Sedo rep in charge of this auction? PM me please.

Did you get yours listed? Seems like they have been allowing some in since start of the auction as was 144 listings at the beginning and now is at 152.

Also many haven't even received any bids yet (with 3 days left to go) and the ones that have (including mine), haven't really moved from their initial bids. Hopefully things will pick up as gets closer to the end!

They removed some of our domains because of their high renewal pricing (yet they don't mind when it's a new gtld). To be honest we're pretty disappointed with Sedo.com especially since this auction was our initiative and it took us years to convince them to do it.

Flippa.com remains the best venue for domain hacks and that's where we will focus our efforts from now on.

That's not right for them to remove after having accepted. It's up to buyers to determine if is feasible for them or not.

The inventory sure has been jumping around even before the auction began, so was wondering what was going on there. And by the looks of how the auction is going thus far with majority of the listings not having received any bids, can't really say if will be a big success.
