Even the most skeptical have to admit crypt sounds way better and is better English than crypto with any second word or suffix that starts with a vowel.

I gotta disagree. First of all, crypto sounds better because it's the actual word (it's cryptocurrency, not cryptcurrency). Second of all, crypt- will only maybe sound better if what follows it starts with a vowel, like in your example with -able.

I gotta disagree. First of all, crypto sounds better because it's the actual word (it's cryptocurrency, not cryptcurrency). Second of all, crypt- will only maybe sound better if what follows it starts with a vowel, like in your example with -able.

I guess it's called Crypto coins because of the way each coin is mined using the blockchain, oilcoin has a potential of $1.7 trillion on the table and China coming out with their "petroyuan" it's only natural for the U.S. to take the next step into the future of oil trading, then world events, and speculation will surely drive the price of the coin higher then the price of a barrel of oil, by using some kind of a fork, But that's just my opinion. Don't want to miss out on this one.

We can agree to disagree I have seen some awful crypto names due to that O being crammed with something super awkward. Guess that’s why my name Crypteer sold as opposed to Cryptoeer. Or why 3 of my other crypt names have received offers. The proof will be in what sells.

Yeah congrats on that. But both examples you gave so far are of Crypt + suffix, not Crypt + word.

Buy bitcoin at any place you know. I usually buy from LocalBitcoins.com and then I transfer the bitcoin from LocalBitcoins.com to Binance.com. At Binance, I click on XRP/BTC. When I am in the buy page, I hit the BUY button.

Ofcourse 'Crypto-' sounds better predominantly because the 'o' works well as a word connector and its extensive usage, w.r.t Crypto-currency.
On the other hand 'Crypt-' only works well with selective sounds and keywords, that kind of gives it exclusivity and value in the domain space.

With this in mind i picked up a few like Crypt/Smith ,Cryptiks and Cryptab in (.com)

'Crypt' also seemed to work well as a second word, as opposed to 'Crypto'.

Like in 'Memory/Crypt' and 'Ninja/Crypt' in (.com)
