Hey guys,

I thank all of you for bringing the best deals to the forum. And now lets take this opportunity to learn from our mistakes and improvise in the future...

I believe that if the domains were bought for only 10 cents and wont even sell for 11 cents it does not make any sense,

I propose everyone to put all their newly registered names here and also appraise others.

Lets take this hands on opportunity to learn and create a new generation of smart domain investors.

Minimum appraisal could be as simple as Very Good, Good, Crap, UtterCrap

Rules :

1) Humor is welcome. Sarcasm is most welcome. As long as it is honest
2) Lets learn from real thought of others about your domains. It can be offensive. If you cant take it dont post the names.

I'll take the lead...

1) MatrixSquad.com
2) Afforesting.com

3) Humility.co
4) Kreativity.co

5) DigitalCurrencies.blog

Looking forward to a lot of rotten tomatoes and eggs.

Cheers,
Aditya

I don't even look for regfee domains any more. Too time consuming.

But I did spend some money on software, because I was kinda forced to change to Windows because of a recent hardware purchase. Because it's the only operating system, which has drivers for the Intel Optane Memory Chips. So I bought 2 additional Windows 10 Pro licenses for $39 each, plus System Mechanic (at a discounted price about $23 IIRC) plus, because I was so impressed with System Mechanic, I laid another $19.95 to upgrade System Mechanic to iolo's full suite of programs (available separately but not yet released together) Phoenix 360 (to be released in 1-2 weeks). I have 2 desktops and a laptop at home. So iolo's license is pretty generous, covering all your home PC's (I think up to 10).

Also. I'm not really interested in buying any NGTLDs which have relative expensive renewals, which had some great registration prices, for good domains which are pretty nigh impossible to sell. So I'll be slashing my NGTLD inventory next year also.

Good luck with your registrations. The only one I took a shine to was Humility.co :)

I agree that's the best one I took.. I was surprised that it was still available.

.co is not as popular as they once were, but still a solid non-.com

This is why I stay away from handreg domains these days. I think the best one you registered was DigitalMedia.online. But, IMHO, even though the NGTLD flows nicely with the left of the dot. I think it hurts the domain somewhat.

I have trimmed my portfolio from 800 domains to 180 now and further reducing the number but adding some quality domains.

Then why not choose one of the threads and post in that. Try this thread.

- if you self-report your first post and ask nicely,
Haha... How do I ask nicely??? Do I send flowers along the message???

There are so many of these threads I can't even post in them all !!
You could send one domain on each thread and see how it works...
Send the best one here... ;)

Are you into 4th year of domaining??
I started the same way.. with around 500's of domains. Now I have less than 100 quality (imho) domains.

Guys... I could also snap.

LovU.co

Any love for this domain??? Or is it still a heartbreaker???

I kinda like them. But then, I'm still a bit (maybe too much) partial to .co domains. How much did you pay? At what registrar? But I can't imagine what a Global Shop would sell. What do you think you can sell each of them for?

Thanks for you appraisal. They were $0.33 each @ NC Cyber Monday. Actually, I don't have a concrete number in mind. According to Namebio, PhotoEdit.com was sold for 3.7k in 2017 and for 1.8k in 2016 while GlobalShop.com was sold for 8k in 2006. I'm not sure whether I can I appraise the value for the .co variants out of those sales.

Though they may sound good but I dont think two words in any other TLD than king is a good investment.

with so many one word .co's and to word .com's still around, it just seems impossible that an end user will opt for a .co.
PhotoEdit.com was sold for 3.7k in 2017 and for 1.8k in 2016
GlobalShop.com was sold for 8k in 2006
both seem like end user sales... why would someone build a site on a .co where .com is already developed?

This is my opinion. I maybe wrong.

@stub what do you think???
