Transfer com net org at LCN is $6.19, and nCheap is 3.88 plus ICANN yes? So a whopping $2.49 difference per domain? With the hope of maybe 3 or 4 transfer codes in 24 hours?

Namesilo - I just registered one dot com for 3.99 (free privacy) using the Happy1 promo code, looks like the limit is 50 domains - unclear whether the limit is on the Happy1 or on the 4.99 before the Happy1.

I recommend using a virtual credit card that expires in a month so that they have no way to keep billing you in the future. I don't plan on leaving anything in the account, will transfer to one of my main Registrars.

I have an actual use for this domain will be building a business website on it. But just keep in mind - crap at 3.99 is just as expensive as crap at 9.99 or 8.15, and adds up almost the same.

I have a large grandfathered old time account at DD that includes some features and pricing you can’t get as a new sign up. Also my standard pricing there is just barely over eight dollars per dot com. DD has a marketplace where I occasionally sell a name or sometimes a buyer creates a DD forum account so that I may push the domain to him quickly and without cost to him. DD has the same free privacy namesilo does.

And then there is the overall factor of not wanting names all over the place.

But namesilo seems okay too but cannot compare to what I have going at DD.

Don't waste Rebel on dot ORG since LCN is cheaper standard $6.19. Rebel is only place to have ever offered CO deals to best of my knowledge. See my original post for hints to avoid gotchas.

Piddlely single transfer at nCheap if you grab the coupon when offered (limit one per weekend and you have to watch every hour for that offer)

We can all give the puppy dog eyes to @AlpNames and hope they can offer a transfer deal on Monday, and the past deals they offered were COM only

i tried to register a .com with the coupon provided by namecheap, and there is ZERO discount at namecheap

what a waste of time,
namecheap has made it a tradition to annoy their clients with fake advertising each black friday

@Ategy.com - it is a single domain, and even if the promo is repeated, you can only claim the coupon for a single same offer. We aren't sure yet if that applies to today and Monday independently

If the deal is a different group, like "website me club" and another is "me site tech" you CAN use each for dot ME even though it was repeated

Namecheap deals seem good again this year, and the coupon system is much easier than last year.

The deal for those who have not signed in are $0.33 (+ICANN fees) for many domains at different domains (change each hour, things like .co, .me, .club, .design, .store, .shop, .net have been featured). They also have at least twice had .com/.nt/.org at $0.88 + ICANN. They also have had a deal on transfers from those.

The hosting and SSL deals are great if looking for that (but hosting only for NEW accounts .

I am right though that I can only use one coupon that says .com, .net and .org, even if in different time periods? I know that if a domain is in two types of listings, e.g. .co by itself and .co with .me etc. that you can get two .co since they are in different packages.

You need to be signed up with a Namecheap account, you get the coupon at the start of each hour, and then have 48 hours to use it to buy the domain at the reduced price.

GoDaddy have 40% off new registrations of certain TLDs (not transfers or renewals etc.) but only for existing customers I think (you should have recently got an email from them).

Unfortunately it is only for certain TLDs, and although .co, .pro and some others are included, .com and .net are not.

Alpnames have 12 TLDs at $0.68 for a couple of days, which is a good deal, but Namecheap have most of the same TLDs slightly less ($0.48 + $0.18)
