.club .Club Showcase and Discussion Thread

Spaceship Spaceship
Watch
With the recent popularity and domination of the new gTLD registrations in the .Club extension, it's appropriate to get a showcase and discussion thread going for the extension. Use this thread to showcase .Club domains you invested in, Discuss .Club, and point out record breaking .Club sales.

I'll get things started by showing off our new .Club that redirects back to NamePros ::: DomainName.Club ::::

What .Clubs have you guys and gals invested in?
Any great .Club news that others should be aware of?
What are some (Verifiable) mind blowing .club sales you've seen?
How much are you enjoying your new .club?
Know of any developed .Clubs that look cool?

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
I'm looking to possibly buy some .club domains , if I can find something that makes sense & is usable , the .club extension can work for so many things if done right . i'll pick up some .club domains only if I can pick up the same word .com and / or .net extension also .
Pornos.club, Pornosclub.com (pornoclub.com is with Domain King, Rick)

Domainers are the only class of investors I know of who make a 10 dollar investment in something and become disgruntled when its value hasn't multiplied 1000 fold in a couple of years.

If you turn a $10 reg into a $1000 sale, then you have achieved great ROI on one single domain, but if you have 100 other domains to renew, then the profit is just to renew the 100 remaining domains :) At this point, you haven't made a profit yet. Of course, for many domainers the balance is worse than that.

php.com was regged in 1993.
php.net was regged in 1997.
They use .net, not because they like .net, because in '97 (when they regged the .net) the .com was alredy owned.
Not becuse they like .net.
I remeber in the '99/'00 when I start to learn php, and their official site was ( is ) php.net, my first tought was: ".net???? Why .net?? php.net??? It's so crappy! Why not .com"?
They had not choice in '97, .net or nothing.
No one is questioning the fact that .COM is #1. Of course everyone wants the .COM version of every domain, but it's simply not possible. So therefore, people settle for #2, #3, or #4.

just picked up two .club domains , as of this moment the same non dash name .com extension is for sale at 99,000k$ dollars , the .net is parked , the .us is parked , .co has a website , the dash .com version has a website , .net is taken but no website , .us is available , the .co is available . I was actually surprised that the .club was available in the dash & non- dash ( ironic , isn't it ) extension .

I thought I would post this response I gave another NamePros's user in regards to some registries dramatically increasing prices.

.CLUB has voluntarily signed a price protection clause with the registrars for the first 5 years which limits to inflation or 15%. We may have been the only one to do it. In addition, we have no intention of raising prices and continue to believe in pricing the names on par or close to .com. We also have a different issue. We have many thousands of businesses but we also have many thousands of blogs and hobby sites. Yes if we raised prices most business would just pay if they have a reasonably successful business, but on the hobby side we would lose a lot of customers who might switch to a cheaper domain. We remain focused on creating and generating a global brand and have raised enough funds to continue to market aggressively with a multi-million dollar budget. I don't believe there is another company who invests more in marketing. I hope that addresses your question.

Make that for 20 years. Otherwise, it doesn't mean anything.

With all due respect most of these domains belong in the irony.club with the exception of the intuitive.club
What is a Replace.club? Framework.club? Blink.club? grace delete if you can and in most cases try to stay with 6 characters or less that are actual known club types.

I've been thinking about the .club extension & racking my brain trying to come up with something , it seems ( like with every other ) extension people go crazy & just start snapping up whatever ( wether it makes sense ) or not to the extension . finally , I started thinking about what colin Campbell said in a post that I read where he talked about 1 or 2 word concepts that you can build a business around , or a community that you can serve a blog with & to consider names in an industry that you can possibly sell to an end - user . so I started thinking about stuff outside the box & I just might have an idea , I still have to reg the names ( but i'll do that after I post this ) . just realized that I can get the .club & .com version I'm thinking of ( sweeeeet ) it hit me like a lightning bolt & it would take some work getting the idea off the ground & could take years, an idea that I would like to sell to someone else eventually ( if I can get anyone to listen to me ) . anyway , thanks colin & I wish you & the .club extension many years of continued success , thanks for getting me to rack my brain coming up with ideas too , & I wish everyone in the namepro's community happy domaining
