Everytime I open namepros in chrome I need to login, even if I check the "stay logged in" option. Noticed this from today only. Anyone facing same issue or its me only?

Updates from NamePros:

Update on Mar 1, 2017 at 12:48 AM EST:

Login rates are returning to normal levels and we're no longer able to reproduce the issue. If you're still being logged out repeatedly, please let us know.

On Feb 28, Amazon Web Services, a popular service provider, experienced significant outages, resulting in several features on NamePros and other websites partially breaking. These issues were unrelated and were resolved by Amazon.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
To the people who are still experiencing this issue: are you logging in with Facebook, by any chance?

This morning it was again necessary to " log-in " , and remained " logged - in " for about 2 hours ( I was on and off of the site ) and now it was again necessary to " log-in" when returned to the site.

I've disabled the use of session cookies even for temporary sessions; we're now relying solely on expirations on our end and not trusting the browser. Let's see if that fixes it.

Me too. Getting logged out repeatedly. I have noticed that it happens when I switch Wifi networks. I have two here currently. One from fixed line, using router and the other a hotspot from mobile. When I switch back and forth to the other, I always seem to need to log back in. So has the 'hardening' of the code taken TCP-IP address changes into account as one of its triggers to require re-login? @Admin

@Paul Buonopane Not sure what you changed but since earlier today, I keep getting logged out (I think you probably reset the session on detecting an IP change). It's become a bit of a pain to keep having to login especially since I frequently access NP on the move and also on my phone whose IP changes frequently. Is it possible to revert partially to the earlier mechanism that does not log us out frequently?

Ps. This is based entirely on my own experience. Not sure what the others are experiencing.

This is not a big deal.

Just make sure you don't go to the bathroom and randomly click on any link from the site once every 20 minutes.

This works for me.

Not using Facebook. The problem persists. Using Chrome on Android. A bit inconvenient, but no big deal. Take your time...

@-EM- In my S7edge is working fine. Try to logout and login again and close all the tabs on PC, close the browser and try again, worked for me.
Clicking on the logging out button and logging in again will solve the problem.:)

No, just logging in from the top right of the screen using email/password. When I close this tab, I will be logged out again. Has never happened before. Thought it was my PC but now I see others saying the same thing.

I am using Firefox 51.0.1 (32-bit) "up to date" it says..

Steps:
We need to confirm that those steps were taken on each device that you use and then whether the problem persisted.

Thanks for all your help,

Found an issue whereby sessions were being deleted as a result of database connection errors; looks like it was a bug in a driver. I've implemented a workaround for now.

You shouldn't need to re-login this time.

I logged out, then logged in. Closed tab on mobile and opened another
same issue.
