Looking at the sales for 4g related names there were very few decent sales at all and 4g was a big step.

Keyword+5G is better for spanish, portuguese or italian domains (it makes more sense ...)

I think 5G as a moniker will become an "eyecatcher" tag for a domain and companies will see this 5G as a usual addition to a domain if for no other reason but for SEO purposes.

4G currently has 450,000 searches per month.
5g currently gets 110,000 searches per month.

Sad to say. I don't have much faith in the kids of today and the future. We as a society have allowed the "dumbing" down of our children so easily enticed by brands and words like 5G.

everyday a new word becomes hip and viral and everyone searches it and uses it in everyday conversation. There's potential for marketing manipulation there.

5g will eventually become commonplace. All these 5G providers will be searching for ultra premium keywords and brandables for 5G technology.

and of course for such a huge "game changer" tech.

it will create an ecosystem of developers that can be for all things connected.

I say this as a friend. and an idiot. for something this NEW a niche? stick with exact match keyword rich domains or brandables and .com's it's too soon to get desperate and reg just anything in other extensions just yet. although if you did miss out then extensions like

.top
.club
would be good to reg short ones.

.cn is good but I think Chinese play it safe and still invest in .com. I don't know waht dian means. but good luck. just my 2 cents. hope you are not offended.

but don't take my word for it. I'm an idiot! lol
