In March of 2016 @steitieh was found guilty of shill bidding on NamePros with @tha-she. While these two members are no longer permitted to conduct business with each other here, @steitieh is still able to participate in the marketplace and carries an undeserving PRO badge.

Recently, Rami was accused of shill bidding again. However, the evidence is circumstantial, at best, but it's admitted by him that he had close personal acquaintances bid on his auctions – something that we all know that most other marketplaces would never tolerate.

Beware: if you choose to bid on one of @steitieh 's auctions, know that someone else may be purposefully bidding you up.

Very bad analogy:
1) if friends are playing blackjack, they're "colluding" against the house; and
2) if they're playing Hold'em, there's a mutual understanding of who wins the pot amongst friends (and possibly the house dealer)

There were no prior indications that @steitieh and @DNBank.com and @tha-she were friends when bidding against "outsiders".

LOL - Like a bad poker player. You do NOT know when to fold.
Like i fixed limit player with K7 suited ! Trying to suck out and hit the river.....

I DO see where you are coming from @David Walker and you may be on to something.

However, much of what you have said is libellous. So many unsubstantiated defamatory comments have been made by you in this thread.

I would seriously take on board what @Paul Buonopane has said, because he is spot on !

You had to change the title because you were "PROVEN" wrong, yet you still play the odds and neglect to obey to the facts that DnBank is for REAL - you by no way can call anybody in the case you've mentioned a victim -
I don't think this is the case, yet.

You're putting words, that were not written, into @Paul Buonopane's mouth on why the title had to be changed.

If you're going to make a point, at least make one that doesn't apply to every auction known to wo/man. There's no substance in your "outsiders" post. It's a lousy attempt at establishing an "us" vs "them" mentality among your sheep. It'll work but I'll be here to call them out every time.

This member was clearly scammed into overpaying
Clearly? I've been watching this discussion and waiting like everyone else. Where is this "clearly" you so arrogantly pronounce?

I can't stand this sheep mentality where they follow you blindly. I've got their eyeglass prescription waiting...

You know better David - You have an Allegation - you were told they're NOT true - Plain and simple - you chose to take it out - you do whatever you like - at the end of the day what goes around comes around.

You're damn right I did. I will never participate in one of your auctions again.

No, I was not. Furthermore, you've been warned due to this circumstantial evidence not to have @tha-she bid on your auctions.

This wasn't just 1 auction; or two. There were 5, five, auctions over a period of several days to weeks, where you allowed @tha-she retract her winning bid, but, reported others for neglecting to do so. And, she participated in several more, not being the winner, but doubling your profit as a shill.

Of course, all this is chalked up as 1 warning, it shouldn't have even happened.

You talk Black - I answer you Black - then you reply WHITE!!! You talk DnBank - I answer you DnBank - then you reply Tha-She ... Clearly you have an agenda - enjoy it - I have no interest in discussing further.

II talk the truth: You have an army of shills, it's hard to track. But, no more.

Edit: Funny how you divert. It's almost an admission of guilt. You can't even argue what I wrote.

Some in the moon?

Edit: (Reply to your Edit) Not Funny really - what's funny is that you've been told you're wrong and you just don't get it - or don't want to get it - and it's beyond me. You're clearly TRYING Hard to seek attention like I said the very first time because as much as you THINK you know something, I for sure know how wrong you are..

Maybe, hes just tired of going over the same **** !

This has gone on for 12 pages now, and no hard evidence has been presented nor any further sanctions been imposed. Maybe, its time to call it a day ?

Your suggestion is very hard for an attention seeker .

...I think he's siding with you...

You know how many Dancers performed to your drums? you're even mad because one sides with the truth? Again, understood :)

I am not siding with any one.

@Eric Lyon has adjudicated and sanctions were imposed.
He has also clarified NP's position and his own. More than once....

The standard of proof for guilt was not met.
However, to help ensure integrity and clarity for the future, those said sanctions were imposed.
It really is that simple.

I think Eric has made that very clear and i think your bias in the matter is clouding your judgement.

He sure did. Enough to state that 1 couldn't be verified, which makes everything else now questionable. Although, I did post 5 other auctions, that were verified, so, I don't know where this "1" number came from.
No, I did not. The message told them not to bid on one another's auctions because there was one deal we could not verify. I explained this to you, them, and in this thread, all in different ways.

Decision depends on one remaining auction which was not verified yet !

I too was contacted via PM and offered a BIN price after being outbid, when I didn't respond to one or two messages I was recontacted and pushed on the price offered. You could feasibly chalk that off as a legitimate sales tactic.

@steitieh

On all 5 auctions @tha-she reneged on your auctions, why didn't you contact the next highest bidder? You had an interested party at the table on 5 different occasions yet you didn't relist, you didn't contact the next highest bidder, you made no further effort to try and sell the domain via Namepros. May I ask what your reasoning behind this decision was?

@iAchilles - I'm going to need you to explain how you came to these conclusions.

The domain names from those auctions are showing different registrants (They do not show @steitieh). Several of those domains have since been relisted on NamePros by other members (Indicating a sale to other members).

I don't know where this "1" number came from.
We verified evidence of @tha-she either requesting to back out or completing the deals after the auctions completed except for one that they believe took place over a phone conversation. They were then informed that backing out of an auction is never an option and not to let it happen again.

Friends sit and play poker at casinos and online, all the time.
Does not mean they are colluding in any way.

Take that analogy to Pokerstars and see how long you and your friends accounts last before you're banned. You've offered no valuable input on this thread to date.

Can you state which specific auction this refers to? I've provided 5, and I want to align the dates in chronological order from the initial warning.

Come on people, use some common sense here! In what world would you allow an auction winner to skip payment not once, not twice but five times and be happy with this? Which one of you would do that? In what world the non paying winner leaves positive feedback for a transaction that never took place? In what world another long time "offline friend" bids on your auctions just for the sake of it?

If that's not shill bidding I don't know what it is, let's use some common sense ffs!

While I have a lot of respect for @Eric Lyon I wish he had the balls to call this a shill instead of hiding behind the mighty NP rules. This is not a court and NP rules are not laws ... oh there is not 100% percent evidence to call this a shill ... really? Well got some news, there will never be 100% evidence in these situations because there is no way to 100% prove it on an online forum.

I'd like to thank @David Walker for digging this up as I thanked @Shane Bellone for the AD story. The more people with balls the better for this industry which is plagued and got a bad name just because of all sorts of low life losers bending the "rules" and screwing the innocent. Go for it @David Walker , I'm sure the more you dig the more you'll find out not only on NP but possibly on Flippa and other places!
