I do agree with this. (But the word 'religion' doesn't mean in any language the same. And is sometimes misunderstood).

And concerning the text of George Carlin => if you read my text carefully, you will find that I don't agree with "eternal punishments in Hell that last forever and ever".and you also will find that lots of words are to be taken "spiritually", f.i. the word "fire".

Do know that somewhere in the bible it is written "you are all gods". Yes in the bible.

But there is a difference between God Himself and his Creatures.

If "blessings" is just a word, you can say that of "all words", that don't refer to material things.

Religious people for the most part are the most close-minded people out there. If you're a Christian you say you're right and all the other religions are wrong when you're only 'source' is the bible. When most have never read the koran or the torah.

Same goes with Islam and Judaism. That's like me saying the Harry Potter books are better than The Lord of the Rings without ever reading Lord of the Rings.

Then for church's being a joke. Church was made so religious people can pick and choose what they want to believe in from their holy text.

All the contradictions in the bible, it's quite funny that people in today's day and age are still religious.

I cant change the world, but I can try and at least make them think that maybe the next time they will mention god and there will be another one like me around with the same quotes and confusing questions.
