Virtual Reality Domains (VR)

Spaceship Spaceship
Watch
Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

Feel free to showcase your VR domains If you like...

Cheers

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
just check it as it was my drop because of TM, just saw that now it redirect the traffic to DNS website...

I just saw the Linkedin profile of the supposed new owner of this domain so dangerous. Now I understand it all.

I was going to post in the drone thread, but realized it's both.

Woke up to a nice email that VRDroneRaces.com sold on GoDaddy for $350.

Anyone know how I get paid by GD? All the links in the email don't work; when I log in, the domain is no longer in my account.

Do I have to do anything?

Psyched on two drone sales totaling $700 for $18 investment!

Welcome to the wonderful world of Godaddy's after-sales .

I sold a domain and it took 35 days to receive the money from the date on which the domain is transferred to the buyer..

When I called the telephone customer service told me I had to address the issue with the transfer center. I send many emails and they took many days to respond.

Be patient.

Magus vr and Magik vr in the king (and their reverse).
'Magik' is a not-a-word.

I know it's not a king but picked up VIRTUAL-REALITY.WS

I like that choice. Not only because vrfestival in king is one of my best vr domains. ;)

Mario, as I saw you own festivalvr - if you want to sell it, send me an offer! ;)

Definitely you have a terrific name. Festival is an international word, so it makes sense / value on both sides.

Congrats,
Mario.

PD., I see that you are knowledgeable and know that i sells domains, if you are interested in it, give me a compelling offer and will be yours. ;););)

I picked up recently:

VRNormandy.com
VRGettysburg.com

Some of the biggest/most important battles in history, a great entertaining or scientific VR-content can be created about them. In addition, Normandy is a very popular travel destination as an area.

What do you think?

They are very nice names but have an uncertain commercial value, I mean still more uncertain the rest of Which are publishing, talk about "sure value" is very reckless.

Imho,
Mario.

hello there..

I'm also new to the business so ill try to help with my own learning curve
1) learn, study, research and explore the forums .. plenty of experienced guys here and a lot of knowledge about domaining and about specific niches
2)check sale related to VR or any other topic or niche in namebio
3)there is a section in namepros that is dedicated to beginners so you can ask questions there and might get some answers
4) you are getting into a crowded niche in a time when most of the good names are gone.. to find a good one you can A) need to search deep and it could help if you are a natural , B)buy a good domain in the aftermarkets or from one of the guys here
5)when you found a name that you like , try to ask yourself a few questions for example , who would buy it ?
is it a name that someone would approach me for ? would i need to outbound ?and to whom? and if my name make any sense at all in this specific industry .. then you can reg it and even then nobody promises anything..

keep in mind that if you just regging names without a proper research , you are just throwing money down the drain..

Thanks all of your advise. They are fully true. But when I put these questions for myself about VRhellmet.com, i think all the answers are positive. It is a brandable name. If a company decides to develop a VR helmet, it is a perfect name for it. And there will be a lot of new participant in this new, emerging market.
