discuss Chinese government behind numeric domain buyouts???

I'm going to go a little out on a limb here by mention this, but I'm not so sure that the numeric craze and explosion that ignited 90 days ago, or thereabouts, was just a random deal. Sure numerics have been around, but not like what we've seen over the last few months. It really exploded out of nowhere.

A couple things to point. One, communist China's government is very smart and sneaky, and no doubt they want into the domain market for whatever future cause they may have up their sleeve. I believe the Chinese gov't may be behind this massive accumulation. Quite simply, do a WHO IS look up on the Chinese buyers. It appears ALL of them are of Private Registration, and primarily out of Beijing. Now that's a little odd to me. You would think if large Chinese investors were interested in selling, they would like for people to be able to contact them.

The good news is that the buyouts will probably continue across the board to 6n, and probably no higher. And if this is true, they may pay virtually any price before it's over to completely corner the market.

Start doing a WHO IS look up and look at the massive amounts of private registration out of Beijing. Of course being private makes no sense. There is no crime in doing this of course, but something is going on.

A couple of those are ultra premium patterns. Are you really asking why six 8's in a 7n .net sold? lol

But for three 8's to have a market value of $91 isn't that good. They really need to be premium patterns. 888 alone wont cut it. 9338888.net was a good one though. Need doubles and triples and ultra premiums.
Thats exactly what i said patterns not random numbers. If good patterns are selling with nice prices all am saying that we can see a buyout of the 7n and 8n later. thats a speculation of course but to say that 6N is the end doesnt seem definite as well

6888888.net went for $1,100.00 USD. Not bad, but there are not a lot of those out there.

Thank you for the post and information though.

6888888.net sold for 6,666.00 CNY = 1,041.15 USD
the 3 7N.com are sold for 1,455.00 CNY = 227.253 USD
Again am saying patterns, you are just looking at the lowest sales

I've sold 7n and 8n. I've just noticed that 7n's I was once selling, have stopped selling. I think ultra premium patterns of 7n - 8n will sell, but they have to have ultra premium good patterns. So if they have 3 - 5 "8's", and a double or two, they will sell. Nobody will deny that. Ultra premiums. I just think it may be a limited market in the long run. Like I said, I have a lot of them myself.

You folks with the Chinese government like to buy short ones on various extensions. :D

I'm not chasing my tail anymore on these diversions.

I feel like there is a push around here to buy 7n +, meanwhile the short ones are being grabbed up on all other extensions and we're left holding the bag. Almost like a misinformation campaign. People start posting to go for 7n, and we get back-doored on 6n .net buyout. I ain't play'in this game anymore.

Konga you joined in September right when the Chinese government started buying. And now you start pushing 7n while you guys plan to buy something else.

:D

I mostly have 4L non chips .net which was already bought out and i dont need to push them.

lol..... okay. Could have sworn you were trying to say 7n's are selling good and sending a message that there's a good market for them. Didn't know you didn't even own any. hmmmmm.

That's was my thought as well. A prelude to WWIII. Instead of paper files, track them all by a website. Easy for data entry.
This can be a valid and really easy things for them to share the data if WWIII happens.

Why the conspiracy theory my Pandemic friend lol? I never said what you are saying by the way all i said is good "PATTERNS" 7n and 8n seems to be selling good which "could" mean that 6N is not the end and i showed the stats about them. never said anything about random numbers.

I guess if i said i own 100 to 1000 7N or 8N you would say that am pushing everyone to buy them so mine can rise in value right? :alien3:

Konga, I'm just giving you hard time by implying you work for the Chinese government. My apologies. My radar is going off at the moment as clearly something is going on. There is very little doubt that this is an organized attempt by China to corner numerics that goes beyond random investing. They all have one thing in common, private registration out of Beijing.

One reason I've been hyping 5n .info premiums a bit, is because quite frankly it's the only one left with premiums and I've been just simply trying to get a jump on this plan of theirs. I recently just bought 100 of them, and at this point maybe it was to throw a wrench into this apparent plan. Could be a dead dog in the end, but who knows, doubtful I would say.

Maybe China officials want them for their people down the road, or to use them in some fashion. But knowing how controlling China is with their people, they might even want to acquire them all to also prevent their own people from buying them and to prevent them from exploring too far on the internet, and to keep them from it. The fewer Chinese on the web, the better for China. They've gone to great lengths to block Google and to quash information and the last thing they want is a pipeline of numeric sites sidestepping their efforts in blocking sites like Facebook and Google, etc.... China is about controlling information.

LOL I love a good conspiracy theory. But why does it have to be them versus us? Aren't we all domainers? The more the merrier.

Well, I think 7n are in fact selling good. Just check sales at godaddy for example, or at any expired names site. Besides, if Chinese are pushing anything, 7n must be on top of their list as they own maybe 2 million of them, more than all the other 5n on minor extensions combined. And they are still buying, I had some lists of good names and they are almost all gone now.

If this is the case, should we be all worried? Afterall, the Chinese govt can easily dump the domains...then ...b oooom... no sales/market. ?

For the sake of out assets, I hope it has nothing to do with Chinese govt :D
