This story starts with DNF; a barren wasteland that once was a leading forum within the domain industry. While the forum itself played a huge role in propagating the myth that is Adam Dicker, the story really begins with DNF College in the summer of 2011.

These are in no particular order.

From what I understand, Adam still owes north of $33,000 to previous customers and business partners. As I receive more information, I will update this figure.

Adam Dicker has been a source of inspiration and information for me
he is a very well trusted source of domain valuation for me

He has always been late keeping his annoucements, I don't like that

I see no reason to unfriend him

My post reflect my opinion, nobody will ever be able to pay me for posting
any idea in this hinsight reflects paranoia

anything else?

You are entitled to your opinions, I just felt it appropriate that anybody who reads your opinions does so with the knowledge that they may not be impartial due to your friendship/association with one of the parties, which you had previously failed to disclose when asked. Now we all know.

This post speaks volumes of your character. It also proves everything you posted is bias and worthless. Thank you for the amusement tho, it's been fun.

You are also an alumni of the DNF College. Its fine for you to be friends with Adam and Rick, and I'm glad that your business dealings have been more positive than that shared by others, I just felt it appropriate that anybody reading your posts does so with the knowledge that you may not be approaching this with complete impartiality and that the possibility of you having an ongoing business relationship still exists.

It's not a 'free market' though is it, it is a regulated market...
Not sure it is possible to call it anything other than a free market, no one is forced to pay for it with tax dollars, or at the threat of a gun to the head. It is as free as me deciding to pay for it, or not. If I think I can make 10K, or even 8K from advertising on the site, I would gladly pay 7K to place the ad, with or without the usual spam bots. Bots are a part of life online, so we should all discount some stats due to those bots, but to call it fraud, I am not so sure.

But I do see your point, tough I am not sure what you plan on doing about it. Ask the guy to fix it, if there is an issue, like the OP did, but not sure what we are to gain more from this thread, to be honest.

@Mr.Deleted you don't know that selling a bot email as a real active user is fraud? You're in college right?

When one party lies about the numbers and then sells against those numbers - its fraud. That's a fact in this industry and any industry.

You are increasingly sounding like a shill too, I am convinced that you are all brainwashed.

Adam Dicker claims that DNF gets 80 million hits per month, and will sell you a leaderboard banner on his site for $7000. On the exact same page.

You pay him $7000 up front for a one month ad, with the expectation that your banner will see somewhere around 80 million banner impressions.

You actually get a tiny fraction of that number of impressions, meaning you don't get what you pay for. What on earth does the "free market" have to do with that.

You are paying for something which you are simply not going to receive. How difficult is it to understand?

LOL Brainwashed? I have been one of the sane voices in this long thread.

Let me put it in very simple terms...

Say somebody seemingly respectable with a great reputation locally came to your door selling refuse bags and had a great offer for 80 high quality refuse sacks for just $7, you'd get the sacks within a month.

You hand over your $7, thinking you have got a great deal, but when he comes a few weeks later to deliver the sacks he only leaves 2 refuse sacks on your porch.

Would you say "oh well, that's the free market", or would you say "I've been scammed".

It isn't rocket science.

and then you go and destroy him?

No, and then you warn all of your neighbours so they don't give him their $7. Thanks for completing the analogy.

That's precisely what is happening here. The consequence is that nobody else gives him $7.

Do you blame the person who looked out for his neighbours, or the guy who stole the $7?
