.club .Club Showcase and Discussion Thread

Spaceship Spaceship
Watch
With the recent popularity and domination of the new gTLD registrations in the .Club extension, it's appropriate to get a showcase and discussion thread going for the extension. Use this thread to showcase .Club domains you invested in, Discuss .Club, and point out record breaking .Club sales.

I'll get things started by showing off our new .Club that redirects back to NamePros ::: DomainName.Club ::::

What .Clubs have you guys and gals invested in?
Any great .Club news that others should be aware of?
What are some (Verifiable) mind blowing .club sales you've seen?
How much are you enjoying your new .club?
Know of any developed .Clubs that look cool?

Larry Fischer reported that Coffee.club sold for $100k [to the owner of coffee.org] at TRAFFIC in Miami. Here is Larry's tweet and here's a story about it at DomainCrunch. Larry commented on the story, confirming the sale again...

Larry Fischer 02 Nov, 2014 at 9:38 pm
"I again confirm the sale. Coffee.club was purchased by the owner of coffee.org, Bill McClure."

The domain was part of our recently launched StartUp .club which offers PR, Marketing Support, and Lease-to-own (10 easy payments over 10 years) reducing the risk an entrepreneur has when starting a new venture. Bill is a true genius in the coffee space and I can't wait to join his CLUB.

Congrats Colin Campbell! I know there are a lot of people who don't believe in the longevity of new gTLDs, but I really think .club has some staying power. Not just because .club makes sense, but because you guys are actually working hard to give the extension a boost. I'm glad you all won best New gTLD! Keep it up!

I regged a few .club domains. Thanks for not keeping all the good ones to yourself. Lol!

So much for TMs not having to spend money to get their name...
And disney can't even be bothered to point it to their penguin club website yet? I guess because the words are the wrong way around.

That's for the POP club. Disney doesn't have a case against POP as he's using it in fair use and Disney owns the rights to Club Penguin. Dislexicka domain name.

Pop should go get ShootTheSh*t.Club - I bet that's a premium domain. I don't like the implications of a penguin club....

Yikes!

Sorry to go off topic... I should let you go back to being on topic now.

Early this week we announced that Virat Kohli would be using a .CLUB as his official website. Unlike Demi Lovato and 50 Cent, who added a .CLUB site as their fan club site, he actually is launching his first site pointing ViratKohli.com to ViratKohli.club to make it his main site. Most Americans don't know him but he has over 18 million followers on Facebook (5 times Tiger Woods) and he has been considered the second most marketable sports person on the planet leading the scoring in the sport of Cricket (which also happens to be the worlds second most popular sport with over 2.5 billion fans.) Its all about usage, and .CLUB has the advantage of being a social domain extension. More to come.

Coffee.Club for me. As you know, at T.R.A.F.F.I.C., less 30 days ago, I made a deal with the .Club gang, Colin and Jeff to acquire the domain name www.Coffee.Club under their new www.Startup.club program. Since that time, the .CLUB team and Coffee.org team have been working overtime together to build and launch a great subscription business around a great .CLUB name. It is exciting to see the business up and running for Cyber Monday. Kudo's to the .club team for all of the help in making this happen. These guys are putting their money where their mouth was. Everything they committed has been more than exceeded. I will be the first to tell you the results, Good or Bad. Happy Holidays, Bill Mac

I am not even sure the Registry can sell names there in North Korea. We are based in the U.S. so we are required to follow US laws including sanctions setup by the U.S. government. Doesn't seem right though as it would be better that companies and individuals could buy names. I am going to investigate this a little more.

I'm not in N. K. but rather the U.S.. It does appear that N.K. uses the .com space and uses this company to register names:

XIN NET TECHNOLOGY CORPORATION

It also appears they have sold a few club names, not sure where they are located or the person registering them.

http://ntldstats.com/registrar/120-Xin-Net-Technology-Corporation

Please clarify what you're advising, I'm confused by your reply. TY.

This one offers club too, not sure where they are located either, maybe China.
