Hypened .tv's are not worth to reg and would advice to avoid them.

Think you can better spend your money wisely at the .tv auction or at the sales thread here or try to find any keyword(s) .tv's.

All in my opinion of course :)

Cheers, John.

Agreed, don't waste your money on hyphenated .tv names as they are not worth anything now. Still good words available that are not hyphenated

I agree they are a waste of time if you want to flip them.

But if you're going to develop a site for them and they suit the extension, have good keywords with high Overture they can work.

I registered Music-Video.TV and Music-Videos.TV earlier today for $15 each at GoDaddy. (Music Video has an Overture of 545,000)

I could never afford to buy MusicVideos.TV in the aftermarket so as a second best option their worth $30 IMO.

I try to follow this rule for hyphens:
if the term is hyphenated naturally, than it is a good reg.

for example e-mail is good because it is proper to use "e-mail" (bad example because in this case it is also proper, and more common, to use "email".

blu-ray is another good example.

I used to own truck hyphen graphics dot NET , something you just don't think could make money, but I built a suit that generated traffic, sold the s___ out of truck graphics via an affiliate program, and made a lot of money.

So, if that is your business model, to appear in the search engines, and count on type in and return traffic for zero, with no resale value to speak of, then you are always free to do as you think best. IMO, the extension is nowhere near the point where a hyphen is a plus, and I would stay away from them.

But, that approach can work. If it suits your goals, then build it, make a ton of money, and tell us all you told us so!
