    Great tips for those new to domain names and all the hype about gTLD extensions. I agree .com is best or your country code if you want to focus just on that country. Registering a foreign domain extension has some specific issues though and I would look into that before everything else. Having a website is a global business. Always go for a dot com. A great domain name is a huge asset to your business!

    Can you please specify what kimd of issues? Or kindly point me to a relevant resource discussing the intricacies of buying a ccTLD of a country other than one's own.
    PS: I'm asking this because I'm in a less developed part of the world where domain names are not seen just as valuable.
