Is SnapNames the Tucows auctioneer?

I wasn't sure if they were still handling Tucows' expiring domains since they got bought by web.com.

Also, just to be clear, if a past-due domain is listed as being registered by Tucows Domains Inc., the only place you need to go to backorder or participate in an auction (if necessary) is SnapNames, not any of the other drop services? And it's still 40 days from the expiration date to backorder, so I should backorder about 39 days after the expiration date?

That was 5 years ago. Do you have evidence that's still happening? In any case, that doesn't answer my original questions.

Tucows would have a contract with SnapNames. I haven't heard anything about that being terminated.

Thanks. Web searches show both SnapNames and Afternic as handling delinquent domains for Tucows, so I wasn't sure which. Then there was the sale of SnapNames, which shook things up.
