I still did not see an explanation as to what TDNAM stood for.

The Domain Name After Market

- To Sell, Buy, Renew Expired Domains - and to list your junk domains for $50000 US - it appears like everyone wants to strike it big on TDNAM with outrageous prices in the after market - and not to mention the quality of some of the traffic that pops up in some of these lame domains.

Does that answer your question?

.Tel will be the biggest cash grab and the worst extension launched since .ws!
- anyone who wants to publish a phone number and company info can do so with google business list for FREE!

Amen and well put. :)

Sort of... Are you saying there's an aftermarket page I should be checking out on Godaddy? Are there others that are decent?

You're obviously a part of that hilarious and misinformed tel sucks site.. the same site that slams .tel and then at the same time promotes .tels to buy on the site... well done!
I think you'll find .tel to become bigger than you dreamed, it's got massive potential.. Amen

So let me see if I got the workflow

I go to the GoDaddy aftermarket page and I find a domain that's selling for $5 (plus reg. fee) called MiamiWeddingFlorist.com -- I google miami wedding florist and find 10-15 people who could benefit from that name. I send each of them a personalized email telling them that I have this domain name available and if they're interested in buying it to contact me? Do I list a price in the email or do I make them establish the price first?

Once that's done, what's the flow? Do I have them get a godaddy account and I transfer it to that?

Email them a price between $150 to $300 US no more!
- inform them, the domain is transferable for free to them, using godaddy.com - and that it takes seconds to make the transfer.
- no they will create their own account!

I only park domains that have very little value, Why? Because, I could face a lawyer who would claim that my method of parking a domain is in bad faith! Meaning, any domain you park in todays market, could be taken away from you! I had a lame lawyer try to use the parking system to steal my domain name, since the domain was not worth much, i did not care about his threat! Since then, I direct my best domains to my developed websites. Keeping me out of bad faith sector.

Developing is my only option, but its expensive! Simple 5-10 page sites, or open source php scripts can be used to develop sites, but it does not do the job! I know this, since I have spend over 20K in investments in mini sites and has taken me no where! The ultimate pay out is in Community based services! Meaning, you develop a site to deliver a product or service to a community that has very little or no competition. To compete with the big boys is very expensive, cause they can out bid you in advertising!

To make money, you need to spend 60-75% of your budget on marketing!

Hi 24hourdomainer :)

Quick question : is it ICANN who is allowing the release of all these new extensions? .hamburg .travel, etc?

Also .. How does one go about doing this? Is there some meet and greet along with a transaction that makes this happen? any idea how much? $100K? more?

Thanks in advance

Very good question... ICANN is basically GOD in the world wide web. With out the LORDS permission, no one else has the power to create or give life to any other extension!

Unfortunately, no one can request a tld add on. Only countries and big time corporations will have the power to bribe the Internet God in going forward with an extension!

But what does it mean? What is the process? Which forums are the best to monitor for that type of activity?

Most Active Forum on the net is NP right here, what does it mean! Simple, Read, Read, Read, Read, Read, Read and see what domains, what extensions ".com, .net....." exchange on the forums.... and read read read read and when you have a minimum of $100-500 to invest in a .com - make your move!
