Hello, I think it would be pretty useful to keep track of all LLLL.com sales , even the little ones under $100 so that , pretty soon , when the available LLLL.com will be finished , we`ll have a better idea on market prices.

It is important that these sales are confirmed. So before to post, make sure payment went OK.

I will start with todays` Sedo confirmed sales:

FISE.com 2,700 Euros
TSRT.com US $760
VEUP.com US $1,700

Also, I found interesting to see this average LLLL, getting bids up to $51 and reserve not me. It says it all.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Yeah right. Of course the way you view "minimums" there could be 1000 $100+ sales then some quad on eBay might bring $50 ending on a holiday weekend @ 2AM with a poor description...and you would use that one isolated sale, without any consideration of the reason it happened, to bolster your "minimum" argument.

Brad

Personally I think these (quads) will move to around $50 over the next year or so.

Also I find it interesting Snoop that when the prices are up from usual for a few days, you say let's wait before making any conclusion. Now that there were nearly no quad sales under $130 for months and then there were 6 sales below $130, you start to talk about another 50% drop. I find it a bit funny. We are now end of June, a lot of people are on holidays, if there are a few sales in the $100 range as there were many just 3-4 months ago, I don't think we need to start panicking.

Aren't minimums ignored in the std deviation Reece was doing?

If i remember correctly the top few and the bottom few were evened out as it were to get a good idea of current reseller price. I'm sure some of you might be having that figure, if you'd like to share.

Cheers!

From what I've observed, the low end LLLL.com market has fallen quite a bit over the past 2 months, especially when trying to sell them in bulk lots. I know of one large buyer who's buying any LLLL.com 12 months from expiry for $8 -- I haven't come across anyone paying more in bulk. My observations would put the min wholesale on a bulk minimum wholesale quality lot in the $0.50-$1.00 per range. The min wholesale on single LLLL.com lots doesn't appear to be much higher -- around $0.75-$1.00. Anti-premiums and single premiums have been hardest hit.

Not true IMO - for example triple premiums + V or K where worth quite some money before, nowadays its hard to get $10 on a name expiring in a year..

for example, sold iohv.com for $9.25 on ebay today, close to a year reg left. Those names took really hard hits.

I'm struggling to get near-expired anti-premiums sold for $1 -- they've basically lost all value and are costing me money to get sold when you factor in the opportunity cost of one's time. Domains 1 year from expiry typically aren't valued (on eBay) the full $7-$8 higher like they should be -- I honestly don't understand the logic behind being willing to pay $3 for a domain expiring tomorrow and not being willing to pay $10 for a comparable domain expiring 1 year from now, however that's what I've been seeing.

Yeah some did, but not all. The lower ones are usually at good ol' eBay, where certain sellers have thinned things down bigtime.

LLLLSales shows that Trips + K are doing fine except at eBay (barring the much nicer ones like RMMK) K Link

And shows Trips + V doing fairly ok lately, with the lowest ones at eBay again (GVFT $9.36, PHVT $12 etc) V Link

I had a feeling that was going to go cheap, and was watching. I kicked myself this morning for forgetting about it.

Maybe it's just me, but I have found that expiration dates are less important at Ebay - they seem to have zero effect sometimes. I'd rather sell a name there with a month left on it, than renew and hope the renewal fee will be covered. It won't.

The LLLL.com market has been steadily decling for the last 16 months. Seemingly higher prices than the day or week before is just random stuff, it isn't a a genuine improvement.

If the posters on this forum were on the stock market they'd claim the market was doing well if it fell 5% one day, then rose 2% the next. People need to stop clinging to false hope and see the market for what it is. It is a broken market in serious trouble. The people who think it genuinely was improving at any point over the last 16 months have been proven sadly wrong, I won't embarass those people by bringing up those old post but lots of people have simply been talking nonsense for a long time about this market improving.

I don't think we need to start panicking.

Given what has happened to this market I find this a bizarre quote. Really though the time to panic was February 2008.

Important to differentiate between low end and high end LLLL.coms. The better pronounceable LLLL.coms have done pretty good since February 2008 and while they certainly haven't risen, they haven't fallen to near the extent of cheaper LLLL.coms or even LLL.coms.

I'd say Awza is for sure; there are words out there with aw beginnings (like awesome) and za endings (like pizza). That's the way I look at things anyway.

Easy Russian for the other I guess?

Nice one at eBay today: FXEE $250.00. Considerable jump from the last time it was sold there.

Wow, now that's a nice sale :)

It is a very strong name in my view, not sure I'd see it as a nice sale for the seller (I think the price is possibly less than it would have got at auction), the name has nothing to do with LLLL.com of course.
