I believe this domain could be related to the actual brass taps which we find in the front/back gardens of our homes which we attach the hose of sprinklers/water systems to.

I'm putting my money on location based payment systems winning out over tapping systems. They just make far more sense and the security issues are the same either way. It's all part of the same market but I think it ties to other programs better than the tap system. Not sure how the wallet concept fits in - that's something different.

Curious what others think.

Must say that the tap tiles are finally something that I've read about that intrigues me about NFC. Thanks for whoever posted that first.

Fyi ~ brasstap.com leads to http://www.brasstapbeerbar.com which has nothing to do with mobile payments. With that being said...the word "tap" in mobile payments apps, wallets apps, etc(apps) / domains will be a hot commodity.

P.S. Starbucks paying app has finally landed in the UK/Europe and Canada. I downloaded it straight away, easy to use and this in my opinion will open the floodgates for mobile payments.

For me the top three in there are tec, ace and force. They sound like product names. Other names that are wallet-related services I am not sure about, but we don't know what will happen with wallets and whether the word wallet will start to get used differently. Lots of wallet domains are developed already for money related sites. Also, will wallet users trust or be interested in third party services for the digital wallet(s) they actually use?

Is keyword+wallet or wallet+keyword better? What do people think on this?

I think it just depends on the keywords. Supportwallet doesn't have the same ring that walletsupport has. On the flip side, bigwallet sounds much better than walletbig.

A personal example of one of my regs would be resortwallet.com. I left walletresort.com for the taking and it's still available. It's not worth buying :imho:
