Wordpress - I wouldn't touch blogger with a 40 foot pole. My mum had a blogger blog and I hated it with all my heart, so I made her a Wordpress blog for her birthday. :sold:
I agree wordpress rules, I am just trying to find a wordpress hosting solution that will allow me to install it on a large number of not yet developed domains that wonโt cost too much, at least until they are generating the traffic to cover the costs and pay for it. I know I could put them on sites like noomle and whypark, but I really would like a solution that would allow me to use wordpress. So far people like hostgator and bluehost have told me that they will only stand 10-15 installations per account, which for 200 domains would be a bit expensive at least until they were earning the money to pay for it.
Wordpress all day. Especially if you're self hosting.
I also saw your question about a contact form in another thread. If you're running WordPress, you can find and add a free contact form plugin AND have it working in 30 seconds.
I have a solution for you!
Goal: Make more cash from domains rather than cash parking, providing end users with useful content.
Problem #1 Mini site without links is dead anyway, even if you have good .com name with some content, Google algo will prefer to show less relevant site with off site seo(links) rather than site with good on site seo relevance.
Problem #2 Wordpress mapping cost $10.
Solution #1 Make a mini site, laser targeted for niche, search for non competitive keywords from google keyword tool, get 3 small kwd phrases ( gadgets green sale, home decor oak etc) write 3 pages with 2.5% density in a keywords, which will help somehow your visitor(answer some questions, provide history about oak home decor or tell what types of green gadgets are exist) Make some promotional effort - write an article or pr for your site(make sure use kwds in anchor)
Solution #2 Use blogger, even upload converted custom template from wp.
So you can earn with 200 domains, $600 first year and $6600 after( $40 a year in clicks x 200 - 200x$7domain fee = $8000 - $1400 = $6600) This is if you pay $20 for minisite and $10 for some article or pr, so you have about 20 good backlinks from related pages of other sites = $30x200=$6000
But also your domain will get a value, I am positive you will be able to find a bulk advertiser, besides main ad clicks.
I also wold love to do it for you, PM me.
thank you, yes self hosting and no contact form is not for WP but good to know about the plugins.
Thanks

interesting stuff....please:
1) define : "wordpress mapping" & "anchor" to a non native English speaker like me
2) can you show me some example of blogs that made that kind of revenue?
Cheers
If you have your own hosting, then go with Wordpress, as it is very flexible and has evolved into something that can be much more than a blog these days.
However, if you need a hosted solution, bare in mind that Wordpress.com is picky about certain content. I had a blog about playing poker - and my account was suspended after a couple of months, likely because I had links to some online poker sites.
Do a google search, a number of affiliate marketers have also had thier accounts suspended in the past.
But it seems with Blogger, almost anything goes.
And as dotker mentioned, if this is a blog for your mom or someone not-so computer literate, then Blogger is completely fine. Anyone with a google account can get started in just a few minutes... they don't even need a domain, they can just create a subdomain off of blogspot.com
Actually...how do I backup from WP on my computer so if anything I will be back in minutes?
Cheers
