Newest Scam


Watch out for this newest scam folks.

I registered a domain name 5 days ago and then today I received the email (below) from some dopes at "New Registration Report" out of France..

As far as I am concerned, if someone OTHER THAN my own registrar is asking me to verify anything regarding a my domain names, its a scam and is immediately reported as such.

Namelock.org and NewRegistrationHelp.com are now on my spam list via email.

I see that they have a "domain availability report". Why would I click on that. I know the domain is not available. I registered it. I would not click on any of their links.

I am not "unsubscribing" being that I never SUBscribed in the first place, so they're just going to have to deal with that fact.

Here is the scam I received:
Congratulations on your purchase of <REMOVED>

You MUST have accurate and updated contact information. Providing false or inaccurate contact information
can be grounds for the cancellation of your domain name registration as required by ICANN (More info below).

You can also protect your brand by registering all related domain extensions (ie: .com,.net,.org...) before someone else does.
